Hi! Thank you for sharing your story. It is funny because I was drinking pomegranate juice while watching this haha. I have been TTC for 2+ years and had a pituitary tumor and high prolactin. My prolactin now is low and my doctor has me on Clomid 50 mg now and it makes me feel soooo crazy! It is not working at 50 mg so now I am going to have to increase my dose as well. I have been feeling pretty down and I hope it works soon! Congrats on your baby !

Clomid worked for us so I'm hoping it works for you! Don't be afraid to ask your doctor to increase the dose of you feel like you need too! 3 rounds at 50mg just didn't do it for us, we needed that 150mg :)... Good luck!!!!!

+Adriana V Don't be nervous!! I know Clomid works differently with everyone, but it can lead you to your miracle! Try not to think about it too much (I know way easier said then done) but the month I was so relaxed and didn't have much hope (so I wasn't stressing out about it) worked for us!! Good Luck!!

The last pill of Clomid was on the 12 of this month (November) and I am not sure if i ovulated yet. We've been BD every other day. so if I did ovulate I hope we didn't miss it. I am on CD 19.

My girlfriend is going to start clomid next cycle. We tried femara before and it didn't work. Any suggestions? I hope that if it doesnt work after two rounds that the doctor increases the doseage. The thing is it seems like my girlfriend does ovulate on her own but not always. She did this month which we confirmed by basal body temperature charting and lh levels. Hi! They recommend Clomid for me due to how long TTC was taking for us and with further testing they discovered that I was hypothyroid. Being hypothyroid (at the time NOT being regulated and under control with medication YET) its hard to conceive because testing also showed I was not ovulating normally and sometimes non at all. Hope this helps.

I have hyperthyroidism and been on Rx for that for 8+ months. A year ago I did 3rounds of clomid before I found out I had thyroid issues with no luck but I'm hoping that being on thyroid Rx with help this round with clomid... is there anything else you did with you thyroid?! or any other tips.

Stay on top of taking your medication would be my top tip. I don't know what your doctor has recommended for you and your medication, but for me it was take it at the same time everyday and an hour before eating. Highly recommend following the directions, because that would give the medication the best "environment" to thrive. Also, I did start working out and eating better. Lastly, get blood work done regularly. Your thyroid has a lot to do with your fertility. Hopefully this is your round!!!

I have irregular period and my doctor told me to take provera but I didn’t ovulate but my period came and he told me to take birth control to regulate my menstrual (period) I have a appointment this coming June 18 i don’t know what my doctor will do to me but he mention he’ll be giving me a clomid. I'm so sorry to hear that. I know what you are going through, it's really tough. That's the seriousness of hypothyroidism and pregnancies, your levels have to be leveled out and once you are pregnant always checked. If your doctor isn't adamant on checking your levels during pregnancy, I would fine a new doctor. Best of luck with everything in your future!

I went and saw my normal doctor and talked to her about how long we had been trying and all my symptoms and everything, so she ordered a blood work up and sent me to see a fertility specialist. My first appointment with him he was the one to go over all the blood work and everything and he was the one who diagnosed me with hypothyroidism so he took over my case and we went from there. But this was also when my husband was in the military so I was on base using a doctor at a military hospital. I'm not sure if their protocols or anything they do is different from a normal civilian doctor.

You need to have a fertility clinic monitor your ovulation. Everyone ovulates on a different day so you'd be wasting your time only testing on the same day as someone else. You can buy cheap ovulation tests on Amazon.

Mostly doctors rcmd us to start clomid on 2nd day of our period...for 5 days ..nd approximately they say that the chances of ovulation would be 7 days after your last pill ...try ua luck 😊
