The parliament of Ghana should assert its autonomy and powers hy nixing such obnoxiously corrupt intrusions by a compromised judiciary. The interpretation of your constitution is not rocket science and the fact that some unelected men and women in robe bask in their own autonomy but will choose to dictate to the legislative arm of government is repugnant and unconstitutional. Fact that a member of one party can preemptively truncate an unannounced and impending ruling by a speaker of your legislative body by an ex parte in hushed hearing is indicative of a hatchet job to demean the powers of the speaker and the legislature. Once you succumb to such subversionist threat, you are doomed. The speaker should stand his ground.

I have listened to this man over and over again. He doesn't make sense. He is always sentimental. Talk law if you decide not to leave the law to lawyers. Bagbin is just doing politics. The provision in question is about a member entering parliament and choosing to do business with a side other than the one on whose ticket he was elected. It has nothing to do with futuristic intentions of the fellow. Joynew keeps calling him, but his opinions are always sentimental, perhaps due to his sacking from the npp .
