You all have a nice set up with the chicken plucker, snips and the cones. We didn’t use to have these luxuries. Good for you guys. I hope you all have Blessed Thanksgiving!!

Happy belated birthday. May God grant you many years! Good job on your chickens. We’ve been processing our own for the last 5 years. We get Cornish Cross and keep them on pasture. We harvest at 9 weeks and they average over 5lbs when we put them in the shrink bags. We have 5 children, so we like bigger birds, and we still roast 3 at a time, so you can adjust your time if you want smaller birds.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CHUCK ! Guys check with Murray McMurray Hatchery and try the Cornish Cross Meat Birds ! They grow really fast and you get a much bigger meat bird. They’ll ship the chicks to ya and you go pick them up at your local post office. I think you’ll love that breed and the size they get. God Bless and I hope this helps 😁👍🏼
