How excited I was when I saw that y’all were at Burger Master in Townsend. My husband and I camped in Townsend for years. Although most of our meals were done at the campsite over the fire,we always managed to plan a couple of times at this burger place…of course,overtime,they have expanded and grown it is still such a privilege to be able to experience a real drive-up,home owned burger “joint”. It was the atmosphere,people and excitement of always being there….over the years we tried many things but always ended up with a burger. Thanks so much for this sweet memory…Continue to enjoy each other,love all and store all these times in your “memory bank”….they come in so handy many times.God is good….God Bless. @vafunseekers We got a little rain Friday afternoon, which was not bad. But we really got rained on and drenched, on Sunday afternoon. Which meant that everything was wet when we left on Monday, so we've got stuff all over our yard drying. Looking forward to seeing the places you all reviewed.

This place is hilarious! One night after they closed kitchen, we ordered ice cream (softserve). They handed us a buzzer pager. When we said, What is that for?", they said our icecream cone would take 25 MINUTES!!!!

Do you know how close burger master is to the mountaineer campground? Will be there in 3 wks. Usually camped koa before was koa. It got too expensive😊but last several yrs been camped at sun outdoors in Sevierville. Decided to go back to quieter side. Plus the coves last wed bike ride is the 25th. Hope can make it.. lots of snacks water breaks. I got a basket on bike😅

I'm afraid I do not know, because I don't know where that campground is. But if it is in Townsend, then it can't be far, because Townsend isn't very big. Sorry. But it is bound to be close by.

Nice video. We dined at Burger Master and wasn’t crazy about it. It’s not bad, but nothing special. If you get a chance, try the Peaceful Side Social in Townsend. We visited last time we were there and it was awesome.

First I enjoyed the video. Second, it seems that the intolerance of individuality of people is getting way out of hand! What a boring world this would be if we all liked/disliked the same things? It's called "Freedom of Choice". Funny thing is, those would shove their "choice" into the lives of others would scream bloody murder if that were done to them with a "choice" that wasn't to their liking. Yes, I'm thinking A-1 sauce, onions, etc. Our different preferences is what helps make this world a better place. SMH! Idk why your reviews get some of these bizarre comments. I enjoy your frank honesty. Like few others on YT, you are honest, everyday people who perform a service by sharing their experiences via vlogs. Yes, you perform a service! For the good businesses which would otherwise get little publicity, you spread the word about them! I'm especially thinking of the Mom & Pop one-off's. Second, sometimes businesses think what they're doing is right, but don't see where it can be better. Until someone points it out to them! Third, think of the consumers you serve with open, honest, experiential reflections of your experiences. Ever think of the money you've saved people by sharing the meals that were a bust, etc.? Likewise, ever consider the positive side effects of your reviews? OK. This has not been a good year for me. But, by God's Grace, I'm surviving. And, I'm looking ahead to thriving. Your camping vlogs have helped me by thinking ahead to next year already. PSE don't get discouraged. Along with a few others, the two of you make the World-Wide Wait (Isn't that what "www" really means?) a better place. God Bless!

Thank you for this comment. We're not going to get discouraged, because sad and miserable individuals like that, do not have the power to discourage us. They are unhappy in their own lives, and they try to bring others down. Many of them, I've learned, are followers of some of these what I call, "sewer channels"...Basically, channels that are set up and exist for the sole purpose of mocking other KZbinrs. A few of them have tried to come after us. Pathetic. Like you said, people like different things, and that is what makes the world interesting. I don't know why this particular video set so many people off...LOL. Had one person on here, actually wanting to argue with me about cheese fries...LOL. Can you believe that? And yes, why does it bother anyone, what another total stranger puts on their steak? With all the things wrong in the world right now, it is laughable that someone would get triggered by a bottle of steak sauce. I can remember Burger Master when it was just a small A-frame building where you go to the window to order....then take your food to go or just eat in your car. There was no outside seating back then. But just look what it has become today. 😲

Okay-funny question, but can anyone attest to what the bathroom inside is like since this renovation? I’m getting married at Cades Cove next week, and meeting my photographer here. Hoping to try the food and considering changing into my wedding dress here, instead of in the Cades Cove Campground bathrooms. Not from the area, so can anyone tell me if there’s a mirror in the bathroom, single restroom or more, generally clean? Gotta figure out if this is a contender for that lol

I am so sorry that I can't be of more help. We didn't really go inside of the restrooms, since the hand washing station is outside before you go in. That's all we did. I even asked my wife if she had been in the ladies' restroom, and she didn't go in that one, either. But I can pretty much guarantee you, that they will be better than the campground restrooms in Cades Cove.

I'm going to go out on a limb and just guess that they are adequate. I think the River Rat rafting tours end there, and I'm assuming people go in there to change. I don't know that for a fact, but I think so.

Whenever you order cheese fries, chili or not, it is supposed to be the cheese sauce. That's the way most places do it. Not the shredded cheese. This isn't my first time doing this. Take Culver's, for example. They are very well known for their chili cheese fries. Look how they do them. When I go to Culver's and ask them to hold the chili and just give me cheese, I get the right kind of cheese. Never an issue.

I have ordered cheese fries in many places, and I just gave you the example of Culver's. Yes, they certainly can, and do, put the cheese sauce with it. Even 7-Eleven gives you chili and cheese sauce with their nachos. Did you go to Culver's website and look up their chili cheese fries like I recommended? Also, Wendy's does both. They put cheese sauce, shredded cheese, and chili together. Maybe if you did a quick 30-second Google search on these things, and spent less time trying to argue with me about it, you would realize that I'm actually correct. Because if it "can't be done" like you are saying, then a lot of places sure are doing the impossible.

My wife and I drove from our condo on Ski Mtn to eat here because of the rave reviews. I wish we had stopped at a gas station and got a bag of chips instead. Absolutely sorry expensive food. Never again!!

After hearing about this place and driving by so many times we decided to stop for lunch in August, sadly we were not impressed. Burgers were just frozen patties, milkshakes was okay. You would have had a better meal if you had grilled at your campsite. 🏕️ jmho

We have grilled at our campsite many times. We also like the Burger Master. We did grill 2 nights at our campsite, but decided based on past experiences, to go back to the Burger Master on our first night. So, "better" is up to the person and their preference. To each their own.
