Lotus has always been too little too late. This car should've come out in 2009. AND it's slower than its predecessor. The Evora never should have happened. Designed by Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles, it was a flop, AND slower than it's predecessor. The Exige V6 made some sense, but that should've come out in 2004. At the same time, Lotus built the chassis for the Nissan GTR, so some talent is apparent.

Better late than never. Lotus continue to offer cars for drivers. Yes, the tech may be a late but who cares if you rank pure driving pleasure as the key criteria in choosing your fun car. Lotus get this right and continue to show all others the way. Sadly, not enough people place driving pleasure high enough to make sales of these type of cars a big commercial success.
