Keeping up with this horrific event from the start that brought about a lot of pain and watching the trial from the very beginning to the sentencing and the families impact statements, inspired me to look more into this. This is such a wonderful thing that has to be done. Thoughts and prayers are going out to the victims, the families and all else who were greatly effected. ❤🙏🏼 May the victims rest easy and the families live a happy and healthy life. We need this for our schools, our children. Thank you very much for this

These three pillars of change are all very well and good, but what about the real reasons for mass school shootings? Look at the whole of the European Union, it has a population more than twice that of the United States, how many mass school shootings have there been in the European Union in the last 25 years? How many gun murders have there been in the European Union in the last 25 years? Gun violence is negligible in the European Union compared to the United States. America doesn't have a monopoly on mental health issues, every country in the European Union has to deal with mental health issues. The difference between America and the European Union is that countries in the European Union don't have a gun culture that's glorified. It's not security that needs changing, it's the culture.

I don't want to see another child person killed I think owning an assault weapon is crazy hell I never liked living on a farm because of killing animals but killing children and others with something people don't need awful. I can't imagine the pain that you feel. I believe that there needs to be help in every direction and bans is one step. I vote I do what I can with my limited abilities,pain and other that make even speaking hard. I can pray and vote.

Yeah at the very least they should be off limits to everyone under the age of 21, Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Parkland and Uvalde were all committed by men under the age of 21.

Actual solutions are looking into how we treat and better treatments for mental illness overall cause big pharma has their teeth in the government. Decreasing federal government so ppl have more money in their pocket and reducing dependence on gov't so ppl become more active in their local community, this would be a start

The AR is not an assault rifle. The AR is semiautomatic, not fully automatic which an assault rifle is.

That’s the thing; they had armed security who didn’t do anything. Robb elementary also had armed security. Having people that are armed clearly isn’t working. It’s time to cause change at the root of the problem.
