Well as someone who was polyamorous for three years, if you can make it work I'm happy for you guys, but this is definitely not something for everyone. The jealousy was just too much for me and many others I've talked to over the years, and it often can lead to a LOT of emotional pain and scars that don't heal very easily. I think for most people jealousy in such a context is more or less a natural response and is more then likely a defensive mating strategy. I think fighting that visceral a response on a daily basis can cause deep emotional wounding and in some cases trauma. I myself have since gone monogamous with one of my two polyamorous lovers and it is not only easier but more emotionally fulfilling for the both of us. That being said I have no issue with those that choose to do the polyamorous lifestyle from a secular sense at least. And I have met those that seemingly don't have the innate jealousy for their lovers, and if they can collectively love and function in such a lifestyle than more power to them, but I just wanted to show people that there is another side to this and that its is definitely not something to dive into lightly.

As a polyamourous person this is not true. For some people this wouldn't exact save thwir marriage and eventually divide them, But that's because deep down they, like yourself, are actually monogamous. But for those of us like the triad shown here are actually polyamourous and having more people to love just feels more natural and happier, And people who are poly in poly relationships tend to have higher levels of happiness rather than having to stay in a monogamous relationship were we feel as though we aren't accepted for who we are and how we feel. This life style by no means is for everyone; however for those who find it naturally come to them it can be the answer to problems they may have been having.

neosoulwriter then you’d be surprised to know that many women want more then one husband. In fact having more then one husband would be so much more beneficial to family life then when a man has two wives . If I took a second husband we’d have double the income and when my first husband loses his hair and gets flaccid at least I might still have one man with a working penis. Women never lose the ability to lay down and satisfy a man but when men get fat and old they go floppy and no longer function. Also like so many men these days are piss poor providers. Want their women to give birth and then expect their women to go back out to work asap to put food on the table. It’s hard being a women having to keep the human race going yet more and more men are growing tits and wanting to bake instead of grafting. I've watched this one a few times. I can relate to everything. We are three women (five years now). We have adopted a child a few years back. we are just doing chores, having morning routines evening routines, talking about bills and working. My life could not have worked out better. I married my best friends. im just envious that you have 8 kids. love family #pluralfamily 💕💕

I have watched a few of these polygamy videos now and I have to say this is the first one where someone doesn't look strained. There's always a strained looking person who you can tell doesn't really want it but is going along with it for whatever reason. Maybe doesn't want to lose their partner and sharing him is better than not having him but in this case everyone seems genuinely ok with things as they are.
@bx56595 жыл бұрын
I’ve been in poly and open relationships too and I’d never go back to a monogamous relationship, honestly the healthiest, happiest, freeing and best relationships I’ve ever had
@AriaCadence174 жыл бұрын
Y’all know Matt was the first one that was cheating by what she said 😂 and by the fact she met the second wife through him. Also, I just couldn’t do this. Imagine having to share myself with 4 additional kids and having to spread things thinner to accommodate other kids when I already have my own 😩 guess I’m not giving enough for that.
@aderiancreature84642 жыл бұрын
Are you saying, that the guy cheated on his wife/ girlfriend because he introduced her to another woman? You do know, that there is stuff like friendship, do you? Also he was clearly telling his girlfriend everything about the other one so what about that is cheating? If she was fine with it, that was only an open relstionship, if you ever heard of that before

@lichi1244eva5 жыл бұрын
I respect this. It looks like they all genuinely love each other and their poly relationship definitely helps with child-rearing and expenses, which they definitely need with 8 kids. If the sex is also good among them, that's a bonus! I've also seen this with 2 men and 1 woman and it worked as well. I'm not suggesting polyamory is better than monogamy but if it works for those DIRECTLY INVOLVED in the relationship, more power to them!

Hi! My ex-wife was the same, the best sex, the most satisfying was in a threesome with other women. She was open about it and it was a 2nd date conversation. We were together 11 years and did not breakup over the lifestyle. It did get odd when she started seeing other couples, but we discussed it before it happened.

I absolutely LOVE the grandma! I personally wouldn’t be able to be in a relationship like their’s, but to each their own. I love how grandma found a way to be supportive. There’s no rule that says love is only for a two person relationship & for her to get that even though she’s “old school” is pretty awesome.

Its because a massive amount of the people in the comments have limited education and life experience. They also probably live in a relationship they spend so much time trying to show the world is happy when they are dying inside. So a group of people in a happy working relationship makes them angry. Similar reaction to bullies in school.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I am also polyamorous and I always enjoy it when other poly couples share their stories in an honest light. I often explain to people that if poly was easy everyone would do it, and there is no guarantee in any relationship… Ever! Unfortunately it’s hard to keep track of alternative relationships like we keep track of marriages. 50% of all marriages end in divorce, and only 6.4% of marriages last beyond 20 years. If a polyamorous relationship does not work out, it’s not because it was polyamorous, it’s because the people didn’t click right. My boyfriend’s girlfriend and I are not intimate, but we are close friends If a polyamorous relationship does not work out, it’s not because it was polyamorous, it’s because the people didn’t click right. My boyfriends girlfriend and I are not intimate, but we are close friends And I think the world of her! I’m so grateful to have them in my life and love them both very much. Everyone has their own reasons for becoming polyamorous… I’m glad you guys found what works for you. I will say that normally it’s not the case that things work out when you add a third person to a struggling monogamous relationship. At this time my boyfriend is my only partner and people like to give me a hard time saying if you’re polyamorous where is your other partner? Being polyamorous does not require me to have more than one partner, it just means that I am in a relationship that involves more than two people. Polyamory is what you make of it, the relationship can look however you want it to look. I honestly enjoy the fact that it requires a lot more communication. We don’t leave things to fester, we don’t ignore issues, we talk about them as a family. People can look at the guy in the scenario and think what a lucky son of a gun! I wish people could understand that having two women is not the beach vacation they seem to think it is… When you have more than one partner it’s going to take more effort. If both partners are having a bad day and they need you you have to figure out how to handle that. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, but no relationship is… There will always be ups and downs. Anyone interested in polyamory should go to the website www.more than to.com
