E3 was my first event, i enjoyed it, thank you for making and continuing this series, If i had to say my most memorable moment, it would be in the sunday battle (as dawn) when the grendel had gathered on dawns left flank (your far right flank) and at that point the majority of dawns forces were on the right fighting a push with some monsters i think so our left was completely exposed and we were there thinking "if they charge they are going to smash us" but fortunately for us our runner had seen this and had ran of to tell the brass coast. All i could do was stand there stunned as a rainbow of colour just washed past us chasing the grendel away and the runner (who is a healer with no weapons in hand) running along with them with a massive grin on his face cape blowing in the wind. It was a beautiful moment As a note dawns objective was to hold the position and stop any grendel from meeting with the druj in the woods and had specifically been told 'do not charge' (so if you guys had charged us before the brass coast arrived you we would have failed)

Nothing quite like seeing the other nations in battle, they all have their own unique look and it's just fantastic to see. We were in battle with the Brass Coast at E2 and they were just an amazing sight to behold. (BC bright colours against WM chain and leather, such a wonderful contrast!) Glad you came out of your first event with such great memories! :)

'Enough money' is going to be a very variable thing, other than ticket and food many other things are very flexible in how much money you need to commit, after all kit is aspirational and people are helpful.

I heard about the burlesque show that Mark got into because on that night I went to the goose whisper party and everyone that did it was euphoric and wanted to experience new things for a few hours so we heard about this show and tried to get in but it was full and I heard someone say 'The highguard women are showing their virtues by taking off their clothing'.

I've just got this hilarious image of Old Bort standing in front of Trott, brandishing his walking canestaff thing, saying in his very best Yoda voice 'if kill him, you wish, then through me, you must go!' And then the executioners just look at each other bewildered for a moment before charging him, and Old Bort just goes 'Old Bort was metaphorical, being!' before legging it. Well, legging it as fast as an old, crippled orc can go, which, I can assure you having recently recovered from a sprained knee, is not going to be very fast at all.

Been looking forwards to this video the stories told are amusing, the last videos seem to have inspired me, I'm already slowly collecting a costume together to go to empire. Not really sure what faction to go, though I'm thinking of either wintermark or navarr. I even made a hooded cape out of some materials I bought. Though I have noticed how pricey everything can be but I am sure it will be worth it in the end as I shall have hopefully have an awesome costume. I think the things that really make a costume is the attention to detail like the little symbols marked onto the leather, or the necklaces and bracelets people wear. Not really sure what to do for armour though. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Any recommendations for a first time player going in with all the nerves and hangups about being in character all the time to fimd buddys or a place to go maybs a communal tent area or some sort. Cheers Ciaran Also looking forward to your 40k stuff. I work at games workshop so always great to see the new releases and stuff put out to a big and encouraging community.

If you search on Facebook you can find the Profound Decisions main group and the Various nations have groups too, asking around on those is a fairly common thing and folks can find other newbies or existing groups to join. You can in theory just turn up as a character without a band and find one in play, though that can take a fair bit more brass!
