Hi ladies, I purchased a buckwheat hull pillow, not cheap at £45 but I thought if I added up all of the money I’ve spent on pillows, it would probably run into hundreds of pounds over the years, I laid my head on it and fell instantly in love with it, my god what a game changer for sure. You’re both heaven sent! Love you ladies. 🥰👌

thank you for these videos! could you do a video in the future about the lesser known symptoms of fibro? since i've been diagnosed, i keep realizing certain behaviors that i've adapted to that i started doing because of fibro. when sharon mentioned dry eyes, it made me think of that!

I watch and listen to heaps of people talking on fibromyalgia, I find it really interesting listening to Drs with fibromyalgia, as they really know and understand our pain. Its also helpful hearing Sharon, she has a wealth of knowledge as she too has fibromyalgia. Thank you both. 🙏

All great items. One thing that has been a game changer with my frequency of headaches is the night mouth guard that I got recently from my dentist. It's so great to not have a headache every day! Thank you for your show. Also, I got the Fibro Manual earlier this year and have tried so many things in there. It's the best info I've come across for fibro. You mentioned dry eyes. Please talk about that someday.

Warm socks, new night owns or pj. Heating pad, I pretty much housebound and only get out for doctors and grocery shopping when I can. Instaccart subscription for grocery delivery is also a good gift. Love the Audible as I love reading. Will be looking into the buckwheat and the neck pressure device. I have extreme head and neck issues. Thank you for the ideas.

I love using my neck massager I bought on Amazon. It looks like a cradle for the neck with fingers. You can strap it around the chest. You don't have to hold it, and you get a mini massage. Under $50

I love these ideas thank you! I also benefit from using SHAKTI acupuncture mat and pillow for deep relaxation and gentle pressure release during flares (traditional acupuncture doesn't really benefit me as it causes intense flare ups). A rubber ball massaging the soles of my feet helps after walking. My occipital neuralgia is one of the worst aspects of my fibro and I've tried a hundred pillows but will definitely look into the buck Wheat thanks so much ladies for your channel and support! ❤❤

Why is fibro pain so severe in the jaw, neck, back area?
@thefibroshow15 күн бұрын
Great question! Those areas tend to be where we hold the most myofascial tension, like our body is trying to make a protective suit or armor around us and choosing those places to really clench down.
@Crazyleigs14 күн бұрын
@@thefibroshow What do you suggest is best to ease the pain in those areas?

Thanks for the gift suggestions! Any chance you could speak on vagus nerve disfunction/degeneration, and Prolotherapy? I have been having heart arrhythmias off and on for over 2 years (besides a BUNCH of other issues.) Had an entire heart work up. Praise the Lord, heart checked out fine. And now I have had about 4-5 practioners suggest vagus nerve issues. Just hearing about upper cervical disregulation/vagus nerve issues and Prolotherapy.

Will there be an episode advocating for clewn eating, exercise and less stress? You mention the exercise word and people with fibro jump, saying it's not possible, it absolutely is you just need to work out what you can do and be consistent. Avoid gluten take magnesium, vitamins and give yourself a fighting CHANCE.

Are yiu saying Fibro jump? If so I e not heard of that aspect, what is that exactly?
@kevingarner-b2fАй бұрын
I meant most people with fibro look at you with distain when you mention exercise, they say I can’t possibly. I realise some of us suffer more than others but exercise is one of the key aspects of getting your strength and mobility back. I run a support group abs we have zoom meetings every week but nobody wants to talk about exercise?
@jolenebauser408Ай бұрын
@ I don’t exercise much aside from walking my dog. I also have a lot of back issues that prevent me from doing so. Even before the back issues started I had a very difficult time with exercise. It just wasn’t something I could handle.

Happy Holidays everyone! Thanks very much for these ideas/gifts! I have to say, Audible has been great for me. It's such a relief to know I'm not alone. I absolutely can't read anymore. Articles, and even recipes are really rough. UGH!!! I wanted to ask a question for anyone if I may. I'm having open heart surgery in a couple weeks, have had fibroid and RA since 2007, as well as a 3 level spinal fusion. I'm not supposed to lay on my back; however, will be on my back for about 5 hours during surgery. I'm going to mention this to my doctors, and ask if they can even put a pillow under my knees. I wouldn't be surprised if I will have back pain after surgery - and just wondering if anyone has any tips for my post op time? Thanks in advance! 💜
