Wow, absolutely loved this video! I know we have talked about these products together already, but I feel like I learned so much more from hearing you talk about them! I wish I could explain skincare as informatively and as detailed as you do! I love that we share many favourites, and it's SO difficult to narrow it all down to 5. I was so close to putting the oil exfoliator in my top 5 too! And you described the scent of each product so well, which isn't at all surprising given you are the queen of fragrances! 🥰 Thank you for collaborating with me on this video! I so agree with you on the scent of La Mer, it is exactly how luxurious skincare SHOULD smell, haha! The cream is definitely my holy grail. I use prescription tretinoin and I find using La Mer really helps with any irritation from that. I have yet to try the Concentrate but I think I may have to! I love the detailed descriptions you gave on all the products :)

Loved your video and in-depth explanations of each item. I’m new to your channel because I’m new to La Mer. I was bequeathed a boatload of La Mer skincare after my best friend passed away from breast cancer (she was only 48 years old). She was my trusted go-to for all things skincare because she was a swimmer and yet her skin was flawless! You would never have known she’d spent the better part of her life in the pool and the sun because she took such great care of her skin and swore by these products. Now I’m trying to educate myself about them and maybe, in a weird way, continue her legacy? Anyway, thank you for a very informative video. I look forward to watching more of these! Also, sidebar: has anyone ever told you that you look like Meryl Streep? Uncanny!! 😊

Wow, first of all, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your best friend... that is far too young and horrible that she suffered with cancer. I love that you were bequeathed her La Mer skincare collection, and that you are continuing her legacy as you say. I hope that they work for you, as well as they did for her! It is comments like these that make filming and editing these videos all worth it! Yes, I have had many people say I look like Meryl Streep, I guess I really do, lol. Thank you again for your thoughful comment, it made my day! I hope that in time you will heal from the passing of your friend. Wishing you all the best this year and beyond!

Since you have oily skin, have you ever tried the cool gel or matte cream for daytime use?

I have oily skin and I bought the matte lotion . I don’t like it and will try the soft lotion next time. It’s a bit too powdery for me. It is definitely matte. but with a powder finish. It’s not my favorite. Try a sample first before you take the plunge. I will use it up but will save for times when excessive oiliness is a concern.

I have normal to oily skin and I love to use the cool gel version during summer. So smooth to apply and it leaves my skin w a velvety touch. really nice.
