😅my husband & I have been driving down from British Columbia for several years now at the beginning of the new year. San Simeon and Cambria are great places for restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries , and shops, as well as all the places to explore in Cambria as this video states. We don’t find it any more pricey than any other place we venture to while down there ie Pas Robles, Morrow Bay, and so many other points of interest. The people are very friendly everywhere we go.

In Cambria, or near by, is there little boat rentals or charters available? I know this area of ocean/Beach is chalk full of great white sharks due to the heavy population of elephant seals. It's on my bucket list to see up close a great white shark 🦈 I love them...such cute little guppies.

We've never seen a company that does charters in Cambria, nor do we recall seeing any (if any) boats out during the times we've been there.

@@The-GreenHornet The only charters are out of Morro Bay. There are kayak rentals there also for seeing the back bay.

Cambria is a tourist trap. And everything is overpriced and expensive. I will say the Castle at Christmas time is very cool.
