I was there last week fishing, caught nothing but man was it beautiful up there.

Spent a couple days there in late Feb. Perfect weather and wonderful scenery. Beachcombing was so rewarding and climbing over the boulders on the jetty side was fun. There was some scopes set up to view the falcons high up on the rock. Caught a spectacular sunset with the sun positioned right next to the rock. Ocean looks much nicer than in SoCal for sure.

My mom, sister and I used to go to Morro Bay every summer when I was growing up. It was definitely our happy place! So many great memories! I always used to go into the creepy aquarium. LOL. I'm sure it's changed a lot since I've seen it.

Raised my kids in Los Osos, then moved to MB up by the golf course on the side of Black Hill. Retired and left 12/31/17. We miss it every day.

Hey there Jim. New subscriber here. My name is Tom. Nice video and I’d have to agree with you. Morro Bay is one of my favorite places on the central coast. My dad used to dive for abalone back in the 70’s and early 80’s when I was a kid. We have fond memories getting salt water taffy.

I live in Los Osos now and it's a still great area. I love walking the back bay with wife and dog!!! I used to watch an old surf film that featured sand surfing off our dunes in the early 60's. Thanks for watching...

Growing up in Morro Bay, there were never any sea lions or sea otters to be seen. It was back when they were doing a lot of dredging in the bay and it scared them away. We had to pay to see the sea lions at the aquarium. I was blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful area.

Late summer and fall are the best times to visit for good weather. Early summer has fog. October is usually awesome.

Used to be a little fishing village, but now it’s Just a tourist trap. They charge you for a parking spot that used to be free.
