I have the waxed trucker and the waxed Hudson. I love them both. The waxed Hudson is warmer even though they are both flannel lined. The waxed Hudson layers a little better too and also, at least in my opinion, dresses up pretty well-at least the navy version does.

I have the Flint & Tinder flannel waxed jacket and there is no doubt that it is beautiful and fashionable. Unfortunately, it's really not my most comfortable jacket, and it's not my first go-to. The outer material of the jacket (the waxed canvas) does not breathe and is fundamentally cold; In spring or autumn, a little sweat with a short shirt underneath makes for terrible humidity. Not to mention just wearing at home; For this, there is no substitute for the fleece jacket

I have a waxed jacked from another brand. Waxed canvas is my favorite. It looks rugged yet stylish and has a lot of character. I get positive comments all the time. So I’m gonna ask you guys to not wear it so I can be the only cool guy around. I really don’t want this to catch on. I’d also love to buy one of these lighter versions. I have a 10 year old Filson Tin Cloth Cruiser. I always think of getting a new wax jacket, but I have no need. Mine is going strong! And it’s got some cool repairs. Also, is this another shirt made by the guy? His shirt game is amazing.

Is the Bighorn longer than the classic Trucker jacket? How does it compare body lengthwise to the Trucker Tall version?

I own the flannel lined trucker jacket in forest color and love it! I am looking at adding the rancher jacket for the colder days. I wear the XL in the trucker jacket and it fits well. Should I get the same size in the rancher or is it sized bigger? I’m 6 foot 205 lbs btw. Thanks!

Got my flannel lined waxed Trucker today - just awesome, top job. I’d certainly take a look at the quilted one there - if only the import duties weren’t so prohibitive. You guys have to kick off a European importer subsidiary, you’d sell tons!

Thanks for showing up these nice jackets. I live in Germany and therefore it is not easy to get your gear. I found a reseller on Amazon, were I can get a Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket. After seeing this jacket the first time, I immediately fall in love with it. I a a little unsure about the sizing. I am 1,85cm at 85kg and don´t know if a large one would fit me. Can you help me out? Those are two fine options, and there are a few differences worth noting. The Waxed Trucker is cut like a jean jacket and you'd likely want to consider sizing up to accommodate layering for the colder temps. I think the chest measurement is one of the more important when sizing for this jacket. On the other hand, the Waxed Rancher has more room through the body and you'd likely be good to stick with a Medium. You can see the measurements on the product page below the "add to cart" button. Hi Huckberry, I have the unlined wax jacket in size M which fits fine, now I want to get the Rancher, the sizing numbers on your website show the Rancher XS is the closest to the Unlined M. Should I go for the XS?

The Waxed Rancher is a roomier style than the Waxed Trucker, so you could likely size down to a small, but I don't think I'd drop two sizes. This style is wider and longer for additional coverage and room to layer.

The Trucker has a more tailored look than the Rancher, which is longer and roomier in the body for increased coverage. You could size down in the Rancher if the Medium Trucker fits you well. bit.ly/3TOP5Mb

I have the classic flannel line waxed Trucker in XL and I’m 6’1” 225lbs. It wears well albeit a bit tight around the back under the arm pits most noticeable when I put it on. I am looking to get the Hudson or quilted waxed jacket. Should I stick to XL it downsize or upsize ? Not sure how they’d fit in comparison to the waxed Trucker. Thanks.

Good question! If the XL is a bit tight for the Flannel-Lined Waxed Trucker Jacket, the XL should fit well in the Waxed Hudson Jacket. The Hudson is a bit roomier through the torso and has a longer silhouette, so you should be able to keep your same size without the jacket looking bulky. Is the sizing for the Bighorn the same as the flannel lined trucker? Because I have a trucker in medium and find it a bit baggy, should I get the Bighorn in small? Thx

Yo! Just talked to our team and here's what they had to say: the Flannel-lined Waxed Trucker being a traditional Trucker body is a bit more cropped and the Big Horn has the Curved Hem bottom so will fit a bit longer. FLWT is also lined in the body where the Big Horn is not. So if you're between sizes and felt the Flannel Lined Trucker was too big, I would size down down to Small. And we always have free returns and exchanges if the fit isn't perfect!
