Our Top Campsite Picks at Brazos Bend State Park in Texas

Brazos Bend State Park is one of our favorite places to camp. The campsites at Brazos Bend are nestled in the woodlands that include live-oak and mixed bottomland hardwood forest. Sometimes it’s hard to determine the best site on the Texas State Park’s website. Our goal with this video is to help you find the best campsite at Brazos Bend State Park!
Brazos Bend State Park is a 5,000-acre gem on the Upper Texas Coast just 40 miles from downtown Houston. This gorgeous park offers a wide variety of activities for every age and offers a scenic haven for wildlife observers. More than 270 species of birds have been sighted and the prehistoric-looking American alligator is the park´s most noteworthy resident. Hiking and biking trails are all through the park’s varied terrains and several lakes offer excellent fishing. For stargazers, the George Observatory is located within the park.

1st! Thanks for your campground review. Texas, at least that area, looks very nice. I seek out corner sites at state parks also and have booked all my sites in Jan/ Feb. Next month will be the last one out of 5 the most we've ever done in a year. I know, lite weights. : - )

Great video! We have done a few day trips here and really like the park. Sometimes they will let you pet a baby alligator at the nature center! We will have to try camping one of these times.
