When I was a kid my dad bought me one of those cox gas powered airplanes on a string that you fly around in circles. It sure was fun watching him fly that thing day after day after day I don't think I ever did get to fly it!!! Lol

I remember watching my dad cut his finger starting one of those Cox airplanes when I was a child. I had the purple Cox dune buggy around that same time. I bought one of those dune buggies years ago

Had the Redline & Cox Bill Schifsky Pinto. That SOB was tough to start. I can still remember the smell!

i had the mongoose&snake dragway in 72....Christmas gift from Mrs Schuler. my second grade teacher...i LOVED her....she was sooo pretty (I was 8ish)....and them SSP's were INCREDIBLE fun!!! The T-stick RIPcord ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!NG!!!!

Traxxas did come out with a R/C Nitro burning funny car set, using John Forces name. Adjustable clutches, engine tune, tire selection, and a scale sized digital drag strip setup. Bought 2 of the funny cars, but not the full digital dragstrip "accessory".

Awesome toys. Had many ssp And have the stick shifters. Older brothers had the cox drag cars and airplanes miles of hot wheels track tons of matchbox cars and hot wheels cars and Jonny lightning cars.

@ yes! These were produced in 1969 (Plymouth shutdown) 1970 scat city Dodge challenger. Made by republicans tool corporation of California. Sold at Dodge/ Plymouth dealerships only. Many were given away to children as this was used as a form or marketing to younger children. With the hopes that they would buy a Chrysler product too. Thanks for reaching out. Their awesome sets!
