We literally just booked our 1st Disney Cruise to Alaska using Dreams this afternoon. I owe it to you guys after watching ur great content about it over these last few years. Although now I'm a little nervous about booking 1st dinner service. I thought it would be better for our toddler, but i totally get what ur saying about it minimizing ur excursion times. A change may be in order 😊

I was worried too, but after looking at all aboard times, only 2 of the ports are after first seating (Skagway is 8:00 p.m. and Ketchikan is 6:45 p.m.) I figured if we missed dinner on the ship 2 out of 7 nights I am ok with it

I always thought if I was ever going to do a Disney cruise it was gonna be a Caribbean cruise, but that all changed after watching Theme Park Express's Alaskan vlogs. And now you all do an episode about Alaska! Must be a sign.

I would also recommend a pair of short waterproof boots like duck boots because of the rain and the plank and staircases are wet and slippery

Loved the show! We are taking the Disney Alaska Cruise in May 2024. I look forward to your top tips for the ports. (Our cruise itinerary goes to Icy Strait Point rather than Skagway, so hopefully you'll talk about that.)

I loved my Alaskan Cruise on Celebrity and also loved the Disney Cruise so think it would be awesome to combine the two.

Thank you for saying that you don't need a veranda. I was feeling disappointed I'm taking my two daughters and we are going in May and I couldn't afford to splurge on a veranda. So hearing that makes me feel a lot better.

There is no need to be disappointed at all. I truly believe with Alaksa that having a verandah is like watching a TV. You see what you see and that's what you get, but if you're on the top deck you are immersed 360 degrees and when you start hearing about wildlife on the left shore you don't have to feel bad that you're only looking at the right.

On Ketchikan day, in the evening, Goofy will be meeting in his lumberjack outfit instead of his ski outfit.

Two questions, 1) since you said the characters in their Alaska gear often starts at 9am, I was wondering what cabanas open for me to get a quick bite before I get in line? Also, can you take something like a croissant with you so you can eat while you wait in line?

Are there excursions for ages 6 and 4? This is the main decision for us if we take the cruise.

If you arrive at 9 for pictures is there a sign for where the line will start?

Wait is there a possibility to see these northern lights?

Yes, if you hit the right time of year and it’s not super bright. We couldn’t see it by eye but other guests on our cruise got photos.
