I have a hard time with using anything but real butter. I just cut it down, I took a nutrition class because I’m diabetic, Margarine was originally invented to fatten turkeys, well it started killing the turkey’s giving them heart attacks. They slap some food coloring in it and called it better, it’s one molecule away from being plastic and if you were to leave it in the garage it never spoils and fruit flies don’t even go around it.
@AliciaLynnYT3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rachel, I am with you on having a hard time using anything other than butter! I bought only butter before we seriously got back on WW. I will use it in small amounts for some things and mainly use the Brummel and Brown yogurt spread for things like baking where I need a larger amount and using butter is just going to get the points way too high. Margarine is not good stuff for sure but the Brummel and Brown is probably the best of the worst as far as ingredients go!

Thank you for sharing all of this, just so everyone knows with the whipped topping you don’t have to get the “fat free”. The original is the same amount of points, at least in the cool whip brand. The whole grain English muffin are now 2 points for me. I’m impressed that you have been able to find the smoked turkey hotdogs, we haven’t been able to find them in quite some time. They are very good though. I’ll have to try some of your oatmeal tips, because I picked that as one of my zero points foods on the new plan. I usually eat it with brown sugar, butter, and milk. Even using the lower point butter and milk it’s still too high for me. Oh I want to add something that I use all the time is Fairlife nonfat milk. It’s very good, it’s real milk but it’s lactose free and has less sugar than regular milk. Apparently it is ultrafiltered and that’s how that works. It’s kind of expensive though. Also the I can’t believe it’s not butter light 1 point for a serving.

Hi Beth, I think my favorite way to have popcorn is made on the stove. Mixed frozen berries are the best, we eat a ton! Lemons or vinegar and olive oil is a much healthier option than salad dressing, I just love my dressings too much! Lol I love that WW has most fruits and veggies as zero points because I love them and they help keep me on track. That 45 calorie bread is great and so much cheaper than name brand! Thanks for watching!

how much have you guys lost?

I have lost about 50 on WW in the past. This go around (last 3 years) I have lost 25 and have been in maintenance mode for about 2 1/2 years now. My husband has lost about 65 pounds.

WW changes their plans, so nobody can share them. Now we have personal points, so I have no idea what the points are. I usually just do the ingredients individually and figure out the points that way.

I wish they didn't change things every couple of years, it gets a little frustrating sometimes.

What flavor was the coffee creamer? You didn’t say the name and your husband didn’t hold the bottle in front of the camera long enough to read the label.
