🐸🐸 SPOILER FROGS 🐸🐸 . . . . . . . . . Coach here. Could I have stayed in with Breloom with another Bullet Seed to get Registeel in Flamethrower range? Yes. I respected my opponent too much and assumed Registeel had Rest + Sleep Talk, because I don't understand risking your win con to a potential Spore without Sleep Talk. So that's hindsight and I stand by my play. Knowing a Body Press or Rest could come out, I was expecting to get the most Hurricanes possible. Air Slash was unfortunately not strong enough this game for what I needed. If any of the following were different - a second Heavy Slam hitting G-Slowking, getting 5 hits with bullet seed before Iron Defense (so we kill next turn), the obvious Hurricane, and them not getting an extremely high roll to kill Moltres with Rock Tomb, I think we always win this game. It is what it is! See y'all next week! 🫡

It's okej we now that pokemon is a game of luck like we we can't win all the battle's butt you still played so well yea game freak need to make a good special flying move or like tylor said give pokemon Aeroblast. Ouch this match was rough, kinda of how it works in Pokemon sometimes luck just decides you don't get to win. Still managed to get a 1-0 loss is at least nothing to sneeze at with this game

Spoiler Shield as wanted Gonna be honest, we're sailing decently smooth so far. 3 battles we've claimed victory, two of which were an astounding 5-0 lead. Even our loss was close with 0-2. Play More is shining bright so far and I am for it!

Ben missing hurricane is so common like shadypenguin unable to move while paralyized... If we used a lower BP flying type move with better accuracy would be much easier (even dont getting that 5th hit with bullet seed with breloom matter). If dark pulse would get 2 flinches at the end would won, even it was unlikely to happen. UNFORTUNATE but this is pokemon and this happen. Im kinda sad because Ben played well and prep well too but relying to a successful hurricane (not in rain) to land is risky. I still believe Ben did a really good job and deserve respect. Ben is doing very well this season. Keep strong Buddy.

Lol I do not play competitive singles but would teraing Darkrai in the end have changed the outcome? Just a question, quite unlucky match with the miss which was very unfortunate. Edit: Thanks for @LittleMissZackyVee for explaining why this is not an option because of the tera captains being the only Pokemon being able to tera so the idea of darkrai teraing would be out of the question since the tera captains are Maushold and Gyarados.

Why are Flying moves so inconsistent? 😫 Technician Aerial Ace Scyther is a rare case of powerful, Physical, no drawback Flying STAB. For Special moves, Air Slash has underwhelming power and Hurricane is nearly as bad as Focus Blast.

Lugia’s AeroBlast is probably the most consistent big damage flying special move I THINK and even it doesn’t have perfect accuracy at and it’s locked to Lugia. You can tell gamefreak hates certain types 😂

Flying really needs a better go-to special attack. Something with decent power and 100 accuracy. Air Slash at only 75 power and 95 accuracy doesn’t cut it, and I don’t even need to mention Hurricane.

If the Pokémon don’t have a good matchup, why would I bring them? Tera is good but still matters about the Pokemon at the end of the day. I won weeks 2 and 4 without tera at all.
