@GeneralTarheel @John @PlayMore Your team building is suffering due to your devoted use of Sandy Shocks in the lead slot. Sandy Shocks being your only dedicated switch for electric moves like Tbolt, TWave means that when Shocks goes down in the first few turns, you’re effectively without a single paralysis absorber. Paralysis is the easiest status condition to throw around, as it decidedly makes the opposing team vulnerable to everything that you can do. Drop Sandy shocks for a different ground and electric type, spread out the para absorption and focus on a singular wincon like the days of yore when you had Roaring Moon.

Yeah. Their Season 1 has been their best one with how things are going. Not to mention that if any of the other coaches have been helping Beneral with prep, some could be using it as knowledge against him. He needs an assist coach that isn’t one of his opponents in the league.

I watched the Team Builder for this week before watching this, and was blown away (as I always am) by the sheer knowledge that Coach Ben has. He clearly explained each and every choice, move, ability, and how it was going to help against this week's team. I know that this is something expected of all coaches, but I am always super impressed by the experience and know-how of each and every competitor in the draft league. It's super rubbish that the opposing teams keep getting favourable RNG whilst we haven't been rolling so lucky lately, but that has to change soon!

If that happen to me, i wouldnt play pokemon for a bit of days. Thats ridiculous... Not only he got unable to move from the paralysis but also the opponent land both focus blast and the 50% toxic chain ability of the bird TWICE. I never seen Ben getting so unlucky since i started watching play more. The Ben prep was excellent. Ben on the bike make me laugh so much, i apreciate the creativity on that. Ben is so based.

i was surprised when i heard talking about Psyshock killing Fezandipiti, cause when i looked at the HP i thought that wasn't close at all, and indeed it wasn't. That's one point maybe to look back to, if calced with a reasonable Fezandipiti build Psyshock is doing 55-65, so yeah, it was around 80% there.

Obv this was very unlucky, but I do think that the howl was a miss play which led to the awful events. If he expected gholdengo, and knew that +1 crunch did not kill, it makes more sense to crunch on the switch for chip and then switch away from the t-wave. While RNG sucks and its easy to blame, as a player you've also got to look at what created the situation in which that RNG had a chance to takeover.

I think luck will get you maybe 2 bad games, the key is to prep and play well enough where you put yourself in a spot where insane luck doesnt just lose you an entire game. My only issue with ben has the drafting hasnt semeed to be great. Come week 3 onward every team has a stronger team than we drafted so clean that up and its sitting pretty.

It didn't have a D-dance up and Fezendipity out speeds. Getting a D-dance off was the only way to win at that point, hoping for the opponent over-predicts and doesn't just pick up the KO. I don't see any reason the opponent would've done that, so I probably just would've gone for the KO for differential, but I do see why.
