+A Catholic Turk. Actually Traditional marriage is the most important and is considered the official marriage and comes before Church Wedding. If her parents are real traditionalists, they'll require you do traditional marriage first with the important customary requirements. Church weddings are really not that important, and can be done down the road after you've been officially married. I am speaking from Igbo view point, but I believe it's true for most Nigeria tribes.
