Funny story. I was there in may 2018 and I was in the elevators by myself singing along to under the sea and a bunch of people got on the elevator while I was singing. ( I guess its not that funny it was just really awkward)

I am so excited for this video! We’ve been stalking Aulani for a couple years... about as long as we’ve been watching you two. We love seeing Disney through your eyes. You guys are so fun to watch. Even our 4-year-old asks to watch you guys. Her favorites have been the hidden Mickey hunts on your recent videos. We have watched them so many times! We live in Washington State, so far away from anything Disney... 😭. And only get to go every couple of years. So we travel vicariously through you! I love Disney is finally giving back to you as the media with these Free trips. You have been given Disney so many FREE videos to the world for years.. Here's a tip about the food. Always grab extra napkins you can use them for the oil. Try to watch your wording. The staff our trying their best.😊😊

My husband and I went too Aulani about two years ago. It was hands down one of our favorite places. We only left the resort once to explore the island but enjoyed lounging by the beach ALL day long.

I haven't seen the sun here in Canada in a week. I think the vid is keeping me sane. One of the things I like best about your vids is your sense of place. You went into the hotel and showed us some amazing views and then said, "in case you're wondering where we are" then you turn around and show us how you got there. That technique just really works for me. And that room is freakin' amazing. I'm scared to look at the price online (but I will.)

I loved the whale sounds that you can hear when your underwater in the infinity pool. A classic Disney touch. If you love coffee then make sure you get the Kona coffee that in a bar area that is near the fast food area. That is REAL Kona coffee.

I was at the beach near La Jolla once.. thankfully not in the water at time.. and someone was shorefishing and pulled out one of those leopard sharks.. maybe 10x the size of that one in the tank.😮 But Hawaii.. Yay! So exciting!😃👍💖

I was wondering when you two would be going to Aulani! You guys are amazing. Fun Fact: Tim , the lei you received is a kukui nut lei. Kukui nut (candle nut tree) is the state tree of Hawaii. The torches around property (the Marshmallow looking ones) are to mimic the kukui nut torches Hawaiian used. the oil from one kukui nut is said to have provide about 30 minutes of light. I love Aulani and worked there for 5 years. ENJOY!!!

A must do is MĀKA'IKA'I: THE ART AND CULTURE OF AULANI. This will blow your mind. Show’s how even how Disney’s decor ties in with Island and culture. Just amazing!

I didn't get to stay there. But while visiting Hawaii I went and tour the place, seen a wedding on the beach and did get to snorkel there. It is so amazing. I also got to see Mickey walking around, didn't make it to where he was, but that was cool.

I went to Aulani right after it opened. At the time not all the rooms were ready, but the common areas were all done. When people ask me what it was like I like to tell them it is like staying a Disney's cousins' house. It has many things that remind you of Disney resorts but is just different enough to forget you are at a Disney resort. The branding seems more subtle. It is an absolutely lovely resort, and we are going back very soon.
