High Country Fabrication! They have actually recently redesigned the product so they look sick & they are better than ours 😂

Hey guys… mad setup! Currently mid way through doing our troopy and was just wondering how the cruiser company gullwing goes? I want to do the same window, just don’t get why they’re so much cheaper then the other ones on the market. Cheers!

Hey! Thanks heaps! We think it’s awesome! Haven’t had any dramas with it at all. I think some people have had water issues, we just made sure ours was sealed really well. But all in all it’s sick!

Where did u buy the roof top tent please
@adventuringaus Жыл бұрын
It’s an alucab rooftop conversion. We bought & got it fitted at Hunter 4x4 in Newcastle NSW.

Nice setup 👍 is the plywood form ply or have you painted it black? Cheers Aaron
@adventuringaus Жыл бұрын
Hey Aaron! It’s black melamine coated ply from Trade Masters in Sydney. Makes it super easy for us to wipe over once it’s dirty too.

Can I ask how much it all cost total? I’m looking at doing a troopy build myself.
@adventuringaus Жыл бұрын
A lot 😂 roof conversion was $14,700 and our electrical was $3,500 They were our biggest costs Our suspension and a lot of exterior things (roof rack, bull bar, awning) were already on the car when we bought it! But we probably put about 35K into it- that’s all materials and items like fridge, tanks, taps, fan etc

Why every off roader, campers etc. In Australia mounted their tall and fat GME antenna on the front Bull-bar right into driver sight? It must be annoying and will cause eye fatigue after driving for several hours. Some even mounted desert flags in front, which cease to flex around. Isn't there a better solution, like smaller antenna which can be mounted elsewhere, but not in the front bull-bar? No offense mate. I'm sharing my humble opinion, cuz we mounted our antenna on the side panel, some mounted in the rear etc. and never had a problem.
@adventuringaus Жыл бұрын
Ours was already mounted on the car when we bought it. But I guess because our driver seat is on the right side we don’t notice the antenna much with it being on the left side. But yeah we haven’t actually looked into any other places to put it because it doesn’t bother us hahaha

@@adventuringaus Aussies is a right hand drive country, like ours. It may not be directly mounted on the driver line of sight, so you won't notice much, however after driving without a stop for several hours, you'll begin to notice and eye fatigue will set in quickly.
