my name is gender neutral, but growing up I was the only girl named Quinn so I got told so many times it was a boys name so when you said your parents said that about Aria’s name I lol’d. But my older brother has a very African American/African name, and it is extremely unique, and I remember literally wanting to fight people for mispronouncing his name. I don’t think people fully understand the frustration that grows when your name represents your culture that you so proudly stand for, and yet no one can say it. OMG no way 🥹 A little over a year ago I had a talk with my boyfriend about our future baby girl’s name. I mentioned Nazanin because I’ve loved your name ever since I started watching you!
