Our Valentine's Day At Disney Springs! | Lunch At Homecoming, New Treats & Shopping For Our Cruise!

In today’s vlog we head to Disney Springs to celebrate Valentine’s Day! We have lunch at Homecoming, then we do some shopping for our cruise that we have coming up. Tim gets some dad shoes and he’s so excited! Then we try some of the Valentine’s Day treats at Amorette’s and The Ganachery. We also try the strawberry chocolate dessert, which wasn’t a hit but looked really nice. We even talked about our million dollar ideas with you! We had a lot of fun just hanging out at Disney Springs today and we hope you had fun too! Thank you for watching and we’ll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Boat shoes have soles that grip boat surface without scratching it. Drivers are for use when driving the car- they are softer than other shoes and do not hold up as well on sidewalks, etc.

I went to Homecomin last Sunday on vacay and all I can say is wow. We had the cheese grits and Mac n cheese with fried fish and deviled eggs. Everything was superb! The grits and Mac and cheese was KILLER good. Best place to eat in Disney Springs to me.

Tim’s idea was so funny to me since I am from Minnesota and that is what we have at the MN state fair! Everything is on a stick, spaghetti and meatballs, pork chops, deep fried candy bars, falafel, hummus fries etc. It’s what our state fair is known for, the great MN get together where everything is a stick. FYI, regarding the Dole whips, the chocolate, vanilla, and coconut flavors all contain dairy. As someone with a dairy allergy, I need to be careful about stuff like this. Generally, all the fruit flavors are safe for me, everything else, not so much.

I wish my fiancé and I would’ve had a better experience at Homecomin’. We had reservations at 4:45 and didn’t end up eating until 7:20. They kept saying they were really behind on seating guests. A family of 6 walked up and asked what the wait would be for 6 people. They got seated immediately. It was such a bummer that they prioritized larger groups over smaller. We also tried the hot honey biscuits and to our surprise, they were not hot at all. They were cold and soggy. So for that reason, we probably won’t go back. Glad you guys had good luck shopping!!

LL Bean has a lot of duck boot options if you're looking for something that's not lined! I'm pretty sure they have a lifelong warranty or something, too... so if they get damaged you can send them in and they'll fix them up for you!

I 'made' my hubby get those same pair of leather loafers. He didn't want them at first, and it took months for him to finally wear them, but now he LOVES them. He says they are really comfy! Creamette pasta makes pre cut spaghetti. De Cecco pasta makes pre cut angel hair. For kids, mostly. My sister cut it up for her kids and still likes it that way. I bought her a box as a gag gift, then made her some spaghetti with it. Oh, Happy Valentine’s Day. ❤️❤️❤️ One for each of you.

if you're still thinking about the duck boots but don't want anything fleece lined, I got bean boots from L.L. Bean a few years ago and love them!! they're super comfortable and perfect for when its rainy all day but they're not fleece lined so they're not too hot either!!

Hey Tim- those shoes you got are indeed driving shoes (driving moccasins). Two main differences from loafers: 1) They have a soft construction with no lining, lasting, or midsole; and 2) They have a segmented or dotted rubber outsole that extends behind and wraps partway up the heel. The soft construction and segmented sole make them very flexible and comfortable, and the rubber at the heel gives you cushioning and grip when driving, when your feet are working the pedals and pivoting on the heels.
