My wife works as a nurse in Germany. She has already passed the German government nurse registration exam. She is now a resident nurse of the German government. She currently serves under 16 D AufenthG. I have also passed the A2 exam. Can I apply family visa under this visa scheme? She already has a decent-sized wohnung and a sufficient salary.

Hi Just came across your videos, good job, must say. Can you kindly shed more light on the verification process in Ghana regarding the family reunion visa ? Would really appreciate it.

With the verification process, they will ask a lawyer to come to your community (family members) to ask some questions regarding your marriage. Just to make sure the marriage is not fake. They don't do the verification for every family reunion visa. They didn't do the verification for our process. Try to submit all the documents they ask for in the application list.

Please I learnt you have to change your surname to your husband’s and do a new passport bearing the new surname. How true is that .

I have heard of it too. However, in our case it didn't happen to us. My wife still uses her surname and old passport. The embassy never asked to change it. Maybe it is based on individual cases.

Thanks God Now I made the A1 and sent certificate to the embassy But the time of my interview I was missing the a1 maybe is that cause me the delay my process? now the time I sent the certificate was 2months ago still they didn't contact my husband 😢 how long it takes to contact my husband?

I'm not sure but I think they didn't start the application since you were missing the A1 certificate. They will probably start after receiving the A1.

My first answer would be, he is working, and if there is a further question then I will also clarify that he is also a student. Don't bring in anything that is not asked. If they asked, is he a student? Your answer should be yes.

The foreigners office here work hand-in-hand with the embassies. The foreigners office would confirm your housing and financial stands in Germany, and give that details to the embassy.

If it is a typo, that is okay but when, lets say there are differences in the first name or surname, that kind of raises some questions. Well, the decision is by the consulate. They can also ask for an affidavit for the correct name.

Invitation letter wasn't part of the documents we had to submit. I didn't write any. I think it's based on individual embassies in different countries.

Thumbs up for your great english ! 👍👍So sad today these dumb restrictions. Example you marry a wife from africa, after that complicated process with the german "Ehefähigkeitszeugnis" but that's not at all. After marriage you need apostille and translation, Language certificate A1, etc,etc.....then go to the germany embassy to get the family visa, it's a complicated process too. Then the Bride needs to show "evidence" that she in africa lives 6months or 1 year together (before marriage) with her husband , showing room rent contract, family photos whatever and whatnot. Then when this all is not complicated enough, they make an interview. Problem is that a average employee not has the money to live 1 year in a different country, renting a room, working abroad, it's only possible for people who have the money. I calling these dumb restrictions fascicsm not more not less, what a shame.

It was in English, however few questions were asked in German to test the A1 proficiency. If you watch the whole video, you will know that I also talked about those questions.
