Lived in Ridgway for 5 years...ouray perimeter trail was my favorite. I've jogged the entire trail several times.

I was in Ouray last October. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to hike but did stop for a whiskey :-). BTW....I just stumbled upon your channel and am in love with CO. Have always wanted to move there. CA girl here and love the ocean too.

Thanks for watching and dropping all the nice comments! I also love Colorado and cant get enough of it. So many beautiful places everywhere you look. Just getting home from another jaw droppingingly amazing hike today. Perfect blue skies. But I'm tired! Lol. Thanks again for watching :)

What a beautiful town an hike! That moth was the coolest thing I have seen in a long time also! I was wondering how long have you been hiking the mountains an what made you start making videos of them all?..I love them by the way. I am slowly working my way through them all!

Those moths look like something out of a Tim Burton movie. Really cool! I started hiking in 2010 and moved to Colorado in 2013. I love making videos and I thought I would show people what the hikes were like. My goal was to document the hikes for people who might want to research and do the hikes and for the people who cant. I want to share the beauty of the hard to reach places with the people who physically cant get there. I just love the mountains.. I think I'm obsessed. If im not hiking then im working on a video. And in between I'm researching future hikes. That's pretty much how I spend 95% of my time. I'm glad you like the videos, but I warn you.. the further back you go the worse they get. Lol. My production has slowly gotten better as I've been doing them. As a matter of fact I should probably take some of the early bad ones down.

@@nicksangetta8874We are in love with the mountains to. We both grew up in Massachusetts close to the ocean. We live in Texas (land locked) an ocean is nothing like the east coast. Texas is really flat to compared to Colorado . We visited Estes Park for the first time last year for a wedding an since then we are hooked! We can't get enough of the Rocky Mountains! Your videos are great even the early ones! I keep watching everyday for when you post new ones an watch your old ones in between .. As John Muir says " The mountains are calling an I must go"! Keep on hiking~

Does anyone else see a face in the rock to the right of the waterfall at 6:20. I've always wanted to drive the million dollar highway over red mountain pass. Maybe someday.

I bet that is a beautiful drive! I want to go back down there sometime this year and do some of the peaks. Such a great area!
