Came up a treat mate. I noticed that last bit you did you changed it up to putting the glue down on the slab. You should have sealed and first coated all the walls and ceilings before you did the flooring and fitout. Saves some time.

Not sure about the vaneer flooring but hardwood tongue and groove a 4mm expansion joint every 6 meters is required. 10mm seems a lot

Great tips and video , Is it essential you have to glue this engine oak down or can you just lay it over waterproof foam underlay thats going on this concrete slab ? and then just PVA glue each tongue and groves on each plank as you go and the heavy weight keeps boards from moving and still do the 10 mm expansion gaps around skirts and arch's and silicon between bathroom threshold the same as you are doing . Is this an alternate method or a big no you must glue down ? be great to hear your view .

This is great info. No way am I doing this by myself! How can the expansion joint be hidden along the walls if I don’t want skirting boards? Caulk?

This is so fantastic!! A question please. With hindsight, would you have left the flooring install to a little later in the build. Like couldn't you have painted walls first? Finished tiling and fitoff of electrical points; and than do flooring and artchitraves? I'm just trying to think through my construction plan. Cheers.

Awesome video, keen to tackle some of this myself now! One question I am still unsure about is what to do where the flooring will butt into the tile trim edge? 5mm of Caulking? Cheers!
