I find it so crazy that Karli and a lot of people dream/want to go to college in New York because I live here and just graduated high school and everyone wanted to go away and get out of ny. I’m one of the very few people from my school staying in New York but maybe have Karli check out some of the smaller colleges in New York that give out scholarships and are easier to get into that are just a short train ride into the city so it wouldn’t be such an expense and a safer area to live in if she’s still interested in college/new york. can’t wait to see what she does i’ve been growing up with this channel for years ❤️

Georgian here! Honestly GA is a good suit for almost anyone. You have the big city, the mountains, AND the beach. So many different lifestyles in one state. As far as weather goes, winters aren’t too terribly cold and summers are humid at times but bearable. Whether you want a tight community to be your home, or live out and have a bunch of property, it’s all possible here.

I live in Georgia and I don’t think I’ll ever leave. I grew up in North East Georgia and then I lived in South Georgia for 6 years! As far as weather, it is incredible. You have all of the seasons. You may have a few days a year that are considered the “extremes”, but over all it is very enjoyable. South Georgia does tend to have hurricane situations, but nothing like Florida. I think the most difficult adjustment would be the humidity, but it really is something that you get used to. My dad is from New York and he and my Step Mom and step siblings and half sibling have lived there pretty much my whole life. They moved down to Georgia in 2019 and again, I don’t think they will ever leave. My dad did previously live in Georgia, but my Step Mom, step siblings, and my half sister had never lived outside of New York and they now LOVE Georgia.

New York has many huge Universities/Colleges with thousands of 18-year-olds moving to NYC completely alone. So I don't think there is anything wrong with Karli packing up and leaving to NYC at 18 because she will make friends over there. I understand the debt side of things but Karli could potentially land a scholarship that would take care of that. I think she should at least apply to colleges in NYC and see what happens. I would keep that house my parents have a house almost identical to yours in Wisconsin. All my sisters and brother moved out within the last year or two and it’s just me left and I’ll be a 17 in September and a junior in September as well. My parents are keeping there house because they would love to keep it as there retirement home but want to travel. I’d keep that house love your home and your grandchildren will to!!!!

Move to Tybee Island, Georgia! It’s so beautiful.

I actually checked out Tybee Island -the thing I don’t like about it is dogs can never go on the beach where at least in some small beach towns like that they don’t allow them in the touristy summer months but they allow them on the beach rest of the months. I was so bummed to learn that.

Sorry I’m always commenting ten times haha tell her to go to dental assisting school before dental you get an externship and work one on one with dentist most of mine said you should go on to be a dentist and you get awesome experience before committing to dentistry and a career to fall back on if you don’t decide to go for it or go to a community college and get your general education you can use those credits for any degree you go onto

SC, NC, TN, and east TX all have crazy humidity! So that's something consider. Between the three I love Tennessee! I personally think keeping the house would be great as your family grows but I understand at the same wanting to downsize. My mother in law is wanting to go bigger but wants it all one floor. (She downsized and then within 6 years all her kids got married 😂) Plus in reality your family will always come back where you are ❤️ I just got to the part where you talked about the equity on the house! Makes a lot more sense why you are considering things! Tennessee has a ton of land!
