Brokkoli is one green that helps the body to get rid of excess estrogen toward the end of the cycle, so the menstruation comes easier and with less pains. So this is on very regular rotation in this household 😊

My German grandmother said, “There is no food that isn’t made better with onion…except maybe oatmeal.”

Thank you for the wonderful soup recipes. They all look delicious, and I can’t wait to make them. The homemade stocks that I make, never look as lovely and thick as yours. If you wouldn’t mind, could share your method for making thick rich stocks. Thank you again. 😊

I love that before your vlog here in the U.K., the advert was for K.F.C! Thankfully it was followed by some healthy recipes from you. Thanks for all the tips.

I’m happy to see you using every bit of your ingredients 😊. It drives me crazy watching you tube cooks waste so much food by not scraping out jars and things 👍. Your dishes look delicious!

Love all these ideas, thank you! Question that is totally not related to this specific video at all BUT I made your sourdough starter this summer and have been making amazing amazing recipes with it!! I am so happy with it but I do have one question, along my baking path, I somehow have gotten less starter than I want. I'm guessing when I used it one time I saved a little less than a 1/4 C of starter. Is there anyway to get more. I just recently used it, and instead of putting it in the fridge right away, i added some more flour + water and let it get active again, THEN I added the flour and put it back in the fridge. I am considering repeating that again to hopefully grow more starter. Does this make sense and is that the correct method or do you have any other thoughts? Thanks Anja!!

You can absolutely increase the amount of your starter by just adding more flour (and water) than you need. Don't overthink this, it's in between starter maintenance and creating a new starter. Hope this make sense 👍 ~ Anja

I always find a stray vegetable or two towards the end of the month. These all tend to end up as pasta sauce or quiche. 🤷
