I agree that the next time you use the multi grain mix in meat, put it in food processor to grind it finer so you're not ending up with huge bits of seeds, you'll still get the nutrients but won't have to contend with the odd texture the whole seeds would have

I make swedish meatballs very similar to that I used some oatmeal in it but I and I dilute the cream of mushroom soup with a little bit of milk but I also add sour cream and mix it up real well and I put the meatballs and the noodles together and mix it up before I put it in the baking dish the sour cream adds a little bit of a swedish taste to it

Bev you are helping me so much. I love that you're also in Canada so you shop in the same grocery stores I do and I know the prices you pay are in Canadian dollars. Because of your videos I now also shop at giant tiger for groceries and not just clothing. Your recipes are great for those of us on a budget and on a pension. Thank you !

Your meatballs look so and I can't believe how easy they are to make. I don't have room to freeze them. Do you ever can them? I love you ♥️. God bless you and your family 👪. We are getting ready for ice storms on Wednesday and Thursday. At least I don't have to worry about food, because of my canning, which is a blessing 🙏 😌. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love.

Greetings from NC! Love to have the recipe for your multi grain mix. I agree a short tumble in the food processor just enough to break up the larger pieces may help. I think layering the noodles, veggies, mushroom soup and cheese might help along with the second can of mushroom soup. Or maybe sour cream and mayo mixture added to the soup then pour over the mix. I’ve done that before in my tuna noodle casserole. Can’t wait to see what you have next for us. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bev, looks delicious! I have tried mixing by hand, but I never get it mixed evenly. I have been using my kitchen aide. I remember you mixing it years ago by machine when you were in a fibro flare. That gave me the idea to mix the easy way. I guess my hands are just not strong enough! My mother would call it just being lazy! 😏 👐

I know you create just off the hook but I thought Sweedish Meatballs had a bunch of sour cream on them. When I've bought Sweedish Meatballs for my husband on occasion, I cannot even be in the house when they bake because the smell of sour cream just turns my stomach! I could make a version of this with a creamed soup and actually enjoy it!

Why do you wear gloves when mixing? Do you just not like feeling the meat? Do you have a cut on your hand? I guess I would if i was in foodservice, but I never do if I’m making food for the family, maybe I should?
