The water flavouring you buy we have in England/UK and we call it squash and it comes in like 1litre bottles and comes in loads of flavours and you add a little bit at the bottom of you glass then fill the rest up with water and it tastes so much better than plain water I think your family would love it 😊

I watch your channel because my two younger brothers have autism. My mom has them on the GAPS diet, which she’s been doing for the past three years. It’s helped them alot with meltdowns, asthma attacks, and moods. They still take medications, but I thought i would share because it really has changed their lives and our families lives.

I fully understand that time is something you will find hard to get. In our family, we're lucky enough to shop mostly whole foods and have the time to prep. We avoid pretty much all preservatives, colouring and flavouring. The main reason for this is due to the aftermath of doing the elimination diet and so we just made a decision to avoid certain chemicals. We still monitor our kids behaviour to assess if they have had high glutamate, sals or amines. My son shows signs of adhd but it is more pronounced after certain foods. We don't do juice, just not needed. However we make homemade lemonade with lemons or citric acid and table sugar.

Just have to say I absolutely love your grocery hauls and just all of your videos. I relate to your lifestyle way more than many others I see so it’s hard to watch when they have all organic food that me or my kids will not eat. Or this 3 story mansion that we just can’t afford and quite honestly, I can’t keep clean 😂 you’re so much more practical and relatable and I just love that.

We have a 1980s fridge... it is literally 5 ft tall. A 2nd fridge and deep freeze is a must for us too! I buy 5 gallons of whole milk and 2-3 gallons of lactose free milk. There's no way we can fit my month grocery shop in a 1980s fridge lol! Plus side our extra fridge and deep freeze is in our garage, back in and unload! ☺️

If anyone ever says anything about your grocery hauls just direct them back to your therapy schedule video. Haha I have one kid with special needs out of my 3 and I always assumed your schedule would be a lot but holy cow! You eat your quick meals when you need to. My son struggled with eating and I have completely gone through the just eat phase. He’s honestly my best eater now though so you never know!

Remember to frezze some of the things that can be frozen. Like bananas, strawberries, blueberries, all berries, carrots, broccoli, squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, peas all if these in a frezzer bag and previously cut into pieces 😊😊😊 that's what I do. And herbs you can chop and frezze them in oil or butter 🤪...that way you can buy double of those things and then have some stock. Btw frozzen grapes ARE THE BOMB 🤤🤤🤤

Fed is best, Lex will get there. My nephew has always had a lot of food struggles, and although he still has a limited diet he is getting better and it much more willing to try new things. This weekend I got him to eat 2 zucchini fries I made, 3 cherries and (so not good for him) we finally found a gummy candy he like Sweet tart rope green apple, he also tried nori he was not a fan but he willingly tried it. So Lex will get there just keep trying new things, and if you find something he likes for dipping it helps. My nephew loves cream cheese and peanut butter so new veggies I like to give him some cream cheese to dip in sounds gross to me but it helps a lot. We still struggle a lot with meat textures and sauced foods but every year it has gotten better.

Hey Stephanie! 💓 Be aware, that almond milk brand doesn’t have calcium added so the amount is really low for the kids’ required daily value! It is also incomplete for iodine. These are both things that are in whole milk that aren’t in most plant milks- but you can find them added in some plant milk brands!
@OurLANDingCrew84 жыл бұрын
I did not know that! Thank you so much for letting me know :)
@tresbonoeuf4 жыл бұрын
Our LANDing Crew My pleasure! Another thing to keep in mind is that almond milk is much lower in protein than cow’s milk, so it isn’t the ideal replacement. I know that Danielle is allergic to soy and so you’re staying away from that, but the amount protein in soy milk is awesome, so it might be a great option for the littles! Or alternatively, if you don’t want to have soy in your home, there are almond/coconut/etc milks with added pea protein!! They’ll usually stand out because they advertise the extra protein right on the front label! I’ve been plant based before so I’ve had to stay aware of all these things. 😅 Sending love! 💓

Girl! All my child will eat is chicken nuggets, corn dogs, pancake on a stick and occasionally a cheeseburger. Drinks include chocolate milk (pediasure), lemonade, sprite and water. Today she tried a bite of fried chicken and I about passed out. When your kid will only eat certain things and refuse to eat anything else ya gotta just feed ‘em what they eat. No, providing a kid with a certain food and them having to eat it doesn’t work for a lot of kids. My daughter went 3 days without eating when I tried. I contacted her pediatrician and we had to go to therapy because she was loosing weight. So girl I feel ya. 🥰
