One thing that wasn't explicitly said: choosing the right spouse. Two people working together makes this so much easier. They have worked together to make this happen. It would have been exponentially harder to do this with only one person carrying the weight. Plus one person carrying the weight can lead to resentment. Alone you can go fast but together you can go farther.

For married folks a partner on same page gives you steam ie encouragement to keep at it, ideas, and double income, otherwise if married and not same page, you may build as your spouse digs a hole or doesn't encourage. A single person can do achieve this too, self motivation.

@dynamitestacey22304 жыл бұрын
@@lreally basically what @ay Wa said. I lived way below my means even when I was making only 30k per year. One way I accomplished this was moving back in with my parents. I know not every body has this option but I had it and I used it. I saved alot just from this perspective alone while still contributing to house hold expenses like rent and food. Another thing I did was increase my income. I was fortunate enough that my degree gave me a return on my investment even tho I did take quite a bit in loans to attain it. Every spare bit of change I got like tax returns I threw at my debt. I was obsessive about paying it off because I really hated the monthly drain on my paychecks. Now that I'm debt free I can't describe how liberating it is to know that all the money I used to pay someone else can now be used to build my own wealth. @fitnessgoals10104 жыл бұрын
I wondered that as well. I went back and viewed some of their older videos about how they lived during their 20s. There is a video that discusses the real estate that they purchased in North California. Those numbers alone placed them near the half million mark. But I believe the real estate came in their 30s because their children were there. In their 20s they sought to always live cheaply, so they discussed ways to reduce or eliminate the cost of housing, such taking jobs that pay for housing, or having a roommate. In their 30s they got rid of luxury vehicles like a BMW and down graded to a minivan. They have definitely eaten some humble pie to get where they are today. Hope this helps.
