So by your cynical logic a bully can never regret their actions and any sign of regret is for a selfish reason. Maybe true for this and most cases sure, but don't be too blind to the possibility of genuine remorse.

This girl in my old primary school got bullied for having lice, sure it wasn't the nicest thing. But I was friends with her. I knew that she was struggling at home with her parents. I stayed with her. Throughout the rest of the years, I stayed with her. I was bullied for liking her. Did I care? Nope. These type of videos make tear up, I wonder where my friend is now sometimes. Definitely not fake crying. They ones crying were genuinely upset. Whether that's because they saw how much they'd upset their friend or because they got caught remains unknown. But at the end of the day they're kids and kids rarely think about the consequences of their actions, which is a shame because once they've said it they can't take it back - the damage is already done.

I was briefly bullied during primary school and no matter how many hugs or apologies the people who did it gave me, their negative comments never stopped circulating my head. It's been many years since the initial bullying, but I still live with the insecurities today. I truly don't believe that saying the simple, meaningless, and over-used word "Sorry" will ever justify the actions of these young girls, but you learn as you grow and as long as even such as the thought of treating someone like this again never crosses their minds then I suppose it's a lesson learned.

What people need to realise is that when you get bullied you don't want to admit it or tell anyone out of fear of being harassed even more. The fact that this poor girl was prepared to go on national television to show what she is suffering from shows the level of abuse she was experiencing to the point she didn't see any other way of solving the matter 😔 I hope she can use her experience as a driving force to better her life and never give up as she's stronger than the bullies combined will ever be 🙏

i love this teacher so much. when i was bullied i told my teacher and she just told the girl to say sorry :/ edit: i went back to school today and i’m in the same classes as the girls who used to bully me i can’t stop crying. all these replies make me so sad:( i’m sorry to anyone who is reading this that has or is being bullied. Please please please don’t give up and know that you’re so worth it !! Bullies are normally people who aren’t happy with their life so they try to make someone else unhappy with their life bc they’re jealous. it’s always jealousy! try to ignore them and they will eventually stop, trust me. there’s people who love you even if you don’t think there is. stay strong and don’t give up!! i’m always here to talk so if anyone is feeling down and needs to talk to someone please reply to this comment bc i know how you feel and i don’t want anyone to have to go through that

They never done this in my school. They should have cuz it has made horrible effects on students and to me. In college someone did a snap chat on me and called me a *useless C###* i was 21 and she was 16 and when I told her the effects it dose during my experience she just laughed. When I said "fine! be a murderer than!" She looked at me confused and I told her that if she continued on bullying others, they would go into deep depression and may take their own life. It will all lead back to her, she would go to prison or her actions would be on her records and no one would take her in a job or other colleges she wanted to go too. I was still working on a therapy farm while still doing college at the same time and I have met a lot teenagers that suffered through sever bullying and the bullies who regret what they done. This is a true story and yes these effects are real. So don't bully cuz you just ruin other lives but also your future.

I understand what you’re saying and you’re right! The mental scars stay with you for life, But I also think people need to differentiate between who is genuine and who is not, I was bullied and I met my school bully years later, He was very remorseful for what he did to me, we had a long chat and he asked would I be able to forgive him, I could tell he was genuine and I forgave him, And I’m so glad I did because he died two years ago. And I wouldn’t like to carry that guilt around with me.

Jane Moon I totally disagree kids are not taking their own life because there week, People of older generations are not mentally stronger they were just not as exposed to the amount of social media pressure and the perfect images that are now the “NEW NORM”. In fact I believe it takes one very courageous person to be able to end their own life regardless of mental health, It’s extremely heart breaking that they can’t see any way out, no resolve.

@@KCPurtell not true the only brave men who have the guts to take their own lives were the samurai's and they did it for honor. Every person that commit suicide now is a total coward they think if they kill them selfs things will get better. They are totally selfish. They don't care about their parents or the people who care about them they are very week individuals and you know what it is society's fault for not Preparing them for tough situations. And yes people who lived in this world before us did not have social media people back then had serious physical bullying. And I am not from England I'm talking about serious bullying things you never saw even in movies. So don't tell me your garbage about norm. You have no idea about the real world.

you can't just do that, she probably didn't know it hurt the girl so much. everyone who bullies are going through some kind of problem as well, so they take out out on others. I'm not justifying bullying but they're children and by showing them they're being hurtful will most likely help them realize what they did was wrong because a lot of the times their parents don't tell them bullying is wrong. children are usually a lot more understanding than adults are, even if they're not its probably the parent's fault

If you constantly wish harm on others then the cycle of bullying will only continue. It’s better to say I hope that girl realizes her mistakes and doesn’t act out again instead of hoping she gets hurt. It’s not helping anyone by being hateful, like you are doing.

And a lot of other people's lives too. I've been bullied before, and it didn't make me suicidal. Instead, it made me homicidal. I wanted to torture them and to see them beg for mercy before finally ending their lives. It was my dark days. Frankly, I wasn't the only one who felt it that way, a lot of school shooters from the US killed people because they were being bullied.
