I hated Christmas plays in primary school. Since 2016 I have had bad mental health and all my teacher did was shout at me and accuse me of not learning the words. i completely understood and related to her in a way, singing or even talking and performing on stage infront of others really scared me alot. I had to do a duet with my friend on stage infront of the parents and it was really scary for me having to dance infront of people because i thought i wasn't able to dance well, midway through the dance i had this sudden rush of adrenaline and felt confident and managed to finish the dance without panicking. obviously my heart was beating so much but i was glad i just got it over with :,) something like this is honestly scary for some people like me :,(
