This movie is the movie where Kamal used another composer at first, and then it didn't work out with him. So he went to Ilayaraja to rescue him and said he will reshoot the whole thing. Ilayaraja said, fear not, dont waste your money, I will write songs based on what you already shot including the lip sync and came up with these, which turned out completely different from the original unused ones, but far more better and huge hit. The mindblowing thing is, Ilayaraja composed and finished all the songs within 3 to 5 days.
