Also, the actress in this movie "Sridevi" was a talented and gorgeous actresses that Bollywood had, until last year when she passed away. She was a very popular actress and hence was in the Oscar memorium. Her daughter is just as beautiful as she was, and her daughter also made a debut last year with the movie "dhadak".

I love the amount of respect you gave her because she deserves every bit of that. Her name is pronounced Shree-devi, just putting it out there. A very versatile actress, she started as a child actor and was really popular in the 80's and the 90's and has acted in many languages. She was a brilliant dancer as well, if you watch this movie you will see her dancing here and there, sometimes doing the MJ steps. It's sad she passed away so early in her life. Please do watch this movie. Also may I suggest you to react to the song "Jamu ratiri" from the movie Kshana Kshanam, starring Sridevi. Its an old one (lengthy), but it's beautiful.

By the way, the actress here was the sweetheart of a nation. She was a child actress who Indians watched grow into womanhood and loved her from the beginning to the end. Sridevi, the first female superstar of India...infact the only pan India superstar we've ever had... She was the only actor who ruled Hindi, Tamil and Telegu cinema... The first female actor who got the same price as Amitabh Bachchan, another legend. True story - Film makers had to often change story line keeping in mind Sridevi's popularity. If she was a lead in a film, they could never show her dying or getting killed as that would make the audiences mad. She started acting at 4 and completed 50 years in the industry last year before she passed away ! RIP Sri.
