@V G Yes, Arijit can and he had already performed their songs in Live along with the songs of Sonu Nigam. You can easily find it on youtube. Even Sonu Nigam says that Arijit is better than him. Ariiit is a kind of Singer who never hesitates to perform other Singer's song, alongside the songs of Kishore and Rafi like Legends he sings the songs of very small singers as well, he doesn't care if people would compare him with someone. that's his capability and that's why I started liking this dude more than Sonu sir, But I have equal respect for both of them. When Sonu Nigam starts singing, in the back of my head I am hearing Kishore Kumar singing the original one. Still no one in India has reached that level of Kishore Kumar (at least in Hindi belt). Sonu Nigam is versatile and genuis singer. No doubt about it. But still I prefer to listen to the original song. It is difficult to simulate the emotion that Kishore Kumar gave to this song (or for the matter to any of his song). Please listen to the original song.

Ani16, Kishore Kumar was the first choice for Dev Anand. Kishore Kumar was the most expensive commercial singer of that era. From 1969 till his death nobody could touch kishore Da. His success percentage was more than 80%, more than any other singer. If Mukesh was for Raj Kapoor, Kishore was for Dev Anand. No Indian playback singer was more successful than Kishore Kumar 🙏🙏🙏
