Kareena for me will forever be favourite heroine. She is that kind of actress who doesn't market her skills that well and ppl prolly think of her as mid level. But she is exceptionally good actress and her talent is effortlessly amazing. She is a whole vibe with her offscreen attitude and bitchy comments as well. I like her so much she is beautiful, confident and talented. She is in the same league as Priyanka, Aish, Vidya but I always feel she sidelines herself and is not that ambitious. All the new actresses are fans of kareena and try to imitate her body language and attitude. I mean every girl at one point her life has wanted to be kareena. I love kareena also cuz she doesnt markets herself as "know all", "too righteous", like priyanka or deepika. She is a certified STAR its in her presence. When good news and vire di wedding movies came I was so excited cuz she was making a comeback. She was in movies with Priyanka, Kajol, Rani and she overshadowed them

Kareena Kapoor Khan is an absolutely phenomenal actress(at least for me she definitely is). She gave mind-blowing performances in Jab We Met(the whole freaking film was about her), Udta Punjab, Talaash(I think among all the actors in that particular movie, she gave the most phenomenal performance), 3 Idiots(her role wasn't much but she did a damn good job in portraying the character). Kareena Kapoor Khan is actually one of those very few actresses in Bollywood who has the potential of carrying a film entirely on her shoulders (some other actresses are Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherjee)

I sometimes feel these guys don’t give her that much appreciation is cause they don’t speak the language. Kareena might not have done histrionics like alia in udta or Priyanka in barfi but still we consider KAreena as one of the best and she’s still so relevant is because she comes across as so natural in the films. Even in movies with over the top characters like poo and geet she makes us believe that this person can exist. And I feel Rick and korbin will never realise that cause they can’t understand how natural her dialogue delivery is. Kareena is best at playing regular characters. I feel she’s more on the Julia roberts or Sandra bullock spectrum. Play regular characters with utmost conviction. We love her more than alia and Priyanka.

Priyanka was superb in Barfi , but we can’t ignore the performance of Kareena in Talaash , Kurbaan , Heroine, chameli . well I think kareena and Priyanka were the only two actresses in the 2010 era who knew how to act naturally and try on different roles .

Hello , I would really suggest you to watch “Heroine” , “Chameli” and “Kurbaan” these are some of the path breaking roles that she did . I am sure after watching atleast these 3 films your perception towards her will surely change . In addition to this I would like to tell you both that she is supremely talented and effortlessly good , it’s just she doesn’t show her actual potential on screen which I believe is sometimes brushed under the carpet when she do these big budget films , but the films that I have mentioned please it’s my request do watch them this shows she is phenomenal. She opted for supporting roles in films with Salman, Ajay, Akshay, SRK, Aamir etc just to stay relevant and turned down powerful roles like Saat Khoon Maaf (2011), The Dirty Picture (2012), Queen (2014).

That’s not true at all , if we talk about a bad time in her career then it would be 2002-2005 as only then her films were not working but since 2006 till now even most of the films she did turned out to be massive hits except few . She herself has told multiple times that she loves working in masala films with big actors, that is not something that she is doing because of crisis or something it’s just her choice .

Precisely because she was insecure of things like: her age (hitting 30, and being the oldest in her generation), Katrina Kaif/Priyanka Chopra/VIdya Balan all rising and threatening her throne, the fact that the Top Hero was her own brother Ranbir, so she had no chance of appearing in any big film that he done, her marriage with Saif and the negative associations around married actresses at the time... you get the picture. So to conclude once again, Bebo was mightily insecure and having an existential CRISIS so opted for side-roles in projects helmed by Big Boys like Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan around the mid-2010s period. You're welcome :)

There are two films only where her role was just the love interest of the hero Bajrangi and Singham returns . Apart from these two films all the films she did at that time had an equal role and screen time whether in Golmaal series or Bodyguard , Raone or Talaash with Aamir , then in Ki and ka and good newwz . I guess you’ve mistaken Kareena with katrina because yes Katrina is someone who purely rely on her heroes .

All the other actresses who looked for powerful or main roles like Vidya are away from the industry now , they can’t last so long in this male dominated industry . If you take katrina or Anushka so they also did the same . Even deepika only worked with SRk and Ranveer . So why do you guys always point out Kareena as if she is the only one doing this ?

Kareena’s KURBAAN 2009 and HEROINE 2012 are 2 serious, great must watches for her talent and range. I think People don’t recommend KURBAAN because of the subject matter in New York but it’s a great movie and also has Om Puri and Saif with great performances and great songs. You’d love it but just have to bear the first cheesy 10 mins. She deserved the NA for HEROINE, portrayal of an aging Bwood actress but the industry didn’t like that it exposed some truths about it and they punished her and the producer/director. She got rave reviews but the screenplay was a bit of a letdown.
