We are 60 and preparing for retirement and we have spent our adulthood thrifting just about everything we own, except for our underwear, bed mattresses, our appliances and some of our shoes. Our go to's are also our local FB no buy groups, Marketplace and then thrift shopping. Keep doin' it, girl ! You got the right idea. But be cautious not to bring in too much stuff in, which is so easily done. It starts to look messy and just too much. Practice the "one in and one out" rule. When you bring in one new thing, you have to throw, sell, gift or donate one thing you already have in your home. Trust me on this one! lol

Those are called embroidered dresser scarves . In my culture ( Mennonite)it used to be a part of every brides hope chest , they went out of style probably coming back in again 😅you know what goes around comes around I’ve seen it a few times now at 60 years old. You do decorate cute .

Your pink Depression glass piece is a candy dish. I have a green one just like it. But be sure it isn't a reproduction -- colored glass was in style again a few years ago, and lots of reproduction Depression glass was on the market. Not that it makes any difference when you love it and it looks good in the house. And try hanging that great mirror horizontally above a picture frame of the same size, and just have a trumeau.
