When you mentioned you thought that boat was going to moor up, my lesson learned from holidays on the broads was never to try and 2nd guess anyone, always expect the unexpected 🙃

Filming in the rain is called dedication! The wooden cruiser was great to see. It seemed to move with more precision than modern ones or was that down to skill! Whoever hired the day cruiser should never be allowed on the water again. Speed restrictions are there for a good reason. The river with the mist looked really beautiful. It seemed everyone was mooring up so smoothly this week without any problems. How it should be done! Have a great week.

Great video as always and nice to see lady h out on the water. As for the utter donuts in the day boat it infuriates me why these people think they can get a day boat and act how they do with 0 respect for the rivers and us folk who live on and use it as part of our life’s. The day boat belongs to Herbert woods at potter Higham you maybe able to zoom in and report it to the boat yard or the BA they shouldn’t be able to get away with it as it’s nothing less then utter disrespectful behaviour.

How do you travel from Ludham Bridge to St Benets? Cycle? Walk?Or can you get near St Benets by car?

You can get there by car, there is a little car park a short walk from the river.

Nice to see a few more boats on there river and can you keep the warmer weather there for the next couple of weeks as we are coming down next Saturday and my wife won't fish if it is too cold. It's nice to see you have ann international audience. You never know we may see you.

Music blaring. Speeding day boats. So there are still Hullaballoos cruising the Broads! Nothing changed in that respect in the 90 years since Ransome was writing Coot Club.

Growing up in New Zealand in the 1950s and 60s I used to love reading Ransome’s books. Although I now wonder if I really understood the setting compared to NZ. I actually watched a video of Swallows and Amazons recently. One episode was the noisy boat!
