At the same time we know of people who had been executed and decades later they were found innocent. As our justice system isn't infallible, we cannot take people's lives. Letting them out on a parole is wrong too. . I think, a parole board made of children would have been more sensible than the adult one. Everything is broken now! A 72 year old man attending an X-ray ( in England) was asked whist sitting in the waiting room, if there's a chance, he could be pregnant!!! He said, if he's pregnant, that it must be Jesus he's carrying. Everyone in that waiting room was asked this completely abnormal question .

Who cares how good he is in prison. Also how was he even able to be up for parole. It should have been life no parole. In the 1990s I got a good lesson about not trusting "good ole boys" fishing. I was up in the Appalachian Mountains with my boys, twins 4. We always would fish at a state park. We stopped by the bait shop and a couple of guys were in there and I asked if there were any other spots that might be a little different and fun to take the boys fishing. They were not that friendly and said no. I said well thank you and walked out. I had just bought a car from another state and still had the out of state tag. They came up and said you know we got to thinking, blah, blah, and gave me directions. Dumb me thought oh, thank you and off we went. Next thing you know we are in the middle of the woods, and I got a really sick feeling. There was just nowhere to turn around. I decided new car or not, I backed up and knocked down a couple of small trees and turned around. I gassed it and was flying, here they came. Thankfully to the right was just some brush, went up in it and passed them. I was really shaken, but started second guessing myself saying to myself you dummy they were just going to the same spot. So, I calmed down and went on to the State Park to our usual spot. We had just got settled and I hear can I see your fishing license; I turned around and it was the same guys. They were smirking. I stood up, told the boys drop your polls, and got into we are definitely in danger mode. I asked them what in the hell do you want. They said we just thought you might want company. Little did they know all my family was from there. So, I said if I wanted company I would just call and gave them the most important and the meanest person of my family's name. (I had some sketchy family members, long line of moonshiners) and that smirk left their face. Thank God they were from there, because if not I really believe my threat would not have meant anything. I don't think I let them go anywhere without each other till they left for college. After all these years, they are 28 now, I still get sick thinking how close I got my boys to being killed.

@@joycejardim7031"Moonshiners" are folks who make bootleg alcohol, known as moonshine. During the prohibition years, many of them were as tough as any Gangster you might find in New York. As an aside, this is also where we get dirt racing. The Moonshiners would race their supped up cars when they were not running from the law. This was also the time where folks started finding ways to hide products within a vehicle. With the Alcohol being illegal, you wanted it out of sight and a fast car if you got caught.

When they identified the bad guy as Bomar and went looking for him they didn't have to look far because he was sitting in jail on another charge. I find it interesting that some people just CANNOT seem to keep from breaking the law. You would think that having come in contact with a young woman who certainly had the opportunity to get his license number and to possibly identify him as the driver of the car that bumped into her and tried to get her to stop, that he would walk the straight and narrow for a while so he would not bring any attention to himself and he could fly under the radar. Stupidly, he did not do so. He went his merry way, breaking laws like there was no possibility that he would ever be caught and ended up being incarcerated for a totally different crime. People like this should never ever be released from prison. It is as safe having them on the streets as it would be to have rabid foxes playing in your neighborhood.

Arthur Bomar is pure evil. I remember vividly the Aimee Willard case. Being from the area and living in Brookhaven PA myself, it hit really hard. Knowing that a monster like Bomar was out there preying upon women, close to where we live, was frightening. That piece of sh*t shouldn't have even been free, roaming the streets among innocent people just waiting for the right time to pounce. The justice system failed Aimee and others. There's no doubt they have blood on their hands with this one. The system, across the country, all too often drops the ball when they let scumbags like Bomar back on the streets free to kill again. Prior to murdering Aimee Willard, he violated his parole numerous times. And those who do allow these violent repeat offenders back on the streets need to be held accountable and responsible for their fatal lapses in judgment.
