Regarding the scarecrow arms, you say having them run through the body is unnecessary because it's hidden, but depending on how they made that mesh, doing it like this would actually save some polygons over cutting them off, and I believe that might very well have been the reason.
@Thornskade2 жыл бұрын
When something goes through another object or comes down to a point like with the scarecrows, it's to save on vertices. If the brown part that went through was cut in half, then you'd have two additional ends with more vertices each. Let's say a cylinder has six side faces, that means you have 12 vertices, six on each end. Cut it in half, now you have 24 vertices. So it's better to keep them combined if the middle part can be somehow hidden from view. The pointy end is a similar idea, instead of having six vertices on that end, when you bring it to a single point you only have one vertex. Obviously not always possible to do

I haven’t played this game since I rented it when it was new, but I remember Game Informer dunking on it on their top sellers list month after month since it sold really well as a bonus pack in with a Wii remote. Probably my fondest memory of the game since it was an average mini game collection that was a nice bonus for an extra $10 over just a remote.

At 6:16 you can use AI to slow down the video without making it look choppy. Try out FlowFrames, it’s a free program that’s awesome for upscaling any footage to 60 fps. It also has a slow motion option to slow any footage down while keeping it a buttery smooth 60 fps. The only issue it has is that it creates some artifacts when you input any footage that has too much motion blur. Otherwise it works insanely well, I use it on my animations all the time.
