This isn't only in Long Beach. We are all suffering from an entire crop of aimless kids that see no future because they've never been shown one. Just yesterday a CINCY man got jumped by a group and lost sight in one eye. It’s not just the “ deaths” that are tragic, but all the people who they assault ( unprovoked) who they permanently maim. It's not just at the place they are speaking of. It's a complete society failure. I live in a very small town in the Midwest. The kind of town that nothing happens that is new but the last 3 years have been complete torture due to kids. We had to stop putting any sort of yard furniture or decorations out. Our local parks got destroyed by kids who intentionally broke everything. I even confronted the neighbors about what one of the kids did and showed them footage and the parents even acted like the child still did nothing wrong. Society is just strait up backwards nowadays

I used to hang around Birmingham UK streets as a kid . A group of 5-7 kids out till 4am most nights and not once did we ever attack / trouble randoms. We always respected random people because we was told by parents that if we get in trouble go to nearest house door/ person for help.. Also the police would be all over anyone attacking civilians.

I lived they for 6 months. Was paying 2800 a month in rent... My son's got into a fight with some of the kids that just roam around there that do not live there they just walk in break in still stuff vandalize... My son knocked out one of the three kids...my son was arrested..and held for three weeks..my was 16 at the time... The other kids were released within an hour... They charge my son with bodily injury... Pain management had us kicked out... When I asked the prosecutor why my son was charged with bodily injury.. it is because my son was the only one that gave his address and correct.. the other kids gave fake names and fake addresses so they could not follow and prosecute
