And there was me thinking rebuilding my 1990 Slingshot's carbs was difficult 😂. I didn't understand all that but what it did was make me appreciate how important data guys are in modern racing. The number of parameters are enough to fry your brain, those people must be replicants. Loving your merch, are you going to have some of that available in the UK when you come back for the 2025 UK season? Would deffo be up for a tee.

Thanks mate, makes me think about the early days of these electronics when guys would say "turn all that off & let me control everything with my own hands". Obviously nowadays unless everything works correctly together - you can be the best rider on track by a margin but not necessarily showing it. Well done & thanks again Josh for your work with the channel, seems like it's coming more natural, but remember (as you aliens are good at) to stay focused on the track. Good luck.

Thank you for posting these videos! They are extremely helpful for guys like me who are in the process of building one of these out with the HRC ecu and loom.

You're setting yourself up for a great career after racing. It's one thing to be able to ride fast but to turn spanners and understand data and make adjustments is something very valuable indeed on top of being a gun.

Great video. So interesting how small changes can make a big difference. It's no wonder there are specific electronic guys. Best of luck this weekend. 🏆🏆🤞🙏

Great content on ECU. Seen some dyno and tuning ones for power but not many for racing TC, EB, WC, SC etc. Once you get to spin some laps would be interesting to see a video overlayed comparison of say TC 0 exit T6 for example vs TC 3 same turn and then your feedback and how/why body position/input to the bike changes maybe? Or maybe same for EB into T7. Good luck and see you at BSB some time 👊🏻✊🏻

@@joshbrookes25 Is that a stock tank? I have a 2021 Fireblade and it doesn't look as vertical where it joins the seat.

Awesome content as always ❤ could you please help me with one question. Does the R6 you raced last year used the WRS clear windscreen????
@joshbrookes2510 күн бұрын
Not 100% you’d have to contact the team

Would you prefer to see more electronics allowed in BSB? BSB is the best series to watch given the level of competition and I assume that is somewhat due to no electronic intervention but I wonder if riders would like to have traction control available to them.

You should run BSB spec and think about the big picture.
@joshbrookes2513 күн бұрын
Not that simple. It also costs over £100,000 to build a bsb spec bike

One of the things I love most about BSB is the lack of electronics. It makes for a more even playing field and bloody exciting racing. Sorry, I started to glaze over at the 4 minute mark.
