This reminds me a little bit of "Play School", a programme we had in the UK between 1964-1988. It had a similar structure of a male and female presenter appearing every week playing games, singing songs and telling stories. The major differences being that they were accompanied by a cast of stuffed toys, as well as a clock for storytime, and the presenters would always change at the beginning of every week. There was always a cast of 12-18 presenters, but only two would appear for five days a week.
