Hi, my name is Dena, and I too almost died because of amitriptyline. ... not due to sightseeing with murderous psychopathic "friends " though. Amitriptyline - apparently - has a known adverse reaction of bradycardia and other heart problems. My heart rate was down to 25 when I was checked in to the ER. I was told if I hadn't had that medication they would have taken me in for an emergency pacemaker because of my heart rate and the sporadic non rhythmic fluttering "beats" that displayed. So instead they basically said "yeah, quit taking that, good luck, have a great life!" and sent me home...after only about 3 hours total in the hospital.... driving... by myself... for a drive they knew would take roughly 1hr. Good times.

People should NOT be able to buy life insurance on someone’s life without their knowledge, signature unless it is a minor and it’s the Parents who are buying the insurance,. No strangers or non relative should be able to buy insurance on another adult at anytime without the subject of the life insurances knowledge and signature.

@@quickchris10comcast I don't doubt it. Keep in mind: 1) probably still accomplished through fraud and forgery; 2) laws vary in each country and my response refers only to USA; and 3) laws change over time, and this became the rule of law BECAUSE many people murdered the insured after buying life insurance covering them without their knowledge.

I didn't think an insurance company could authorise such a bizarre request. A policy to insure against the death of a near stranger eh what ? - it's practically admission of guilt when she dies in their presence. It's a bit like insuring against a newborn Jewish boy from being circumcised !!

MAN WHO MURDERED WIFE IS EXECUTED IN MISSOURI THE ORLANDO SENTINEL POTOSI, Mo. - A former insurance salesman who killed his wife 13 years ago was executed by lethal injection early Wednesday. Ralph Davis, 61, was pronounced dead at 12:04 a.m. at the Potosi Correctional Center. Davis was convicted of the slaying of his estranged wife, Susan Davis, who disappeared in June 1986. Her body was never found, but prosecutors alleged Davis shot his wife and disposed of the body. For his last meal, Davis dined on a honeybun roll and a banana, prison officials said Ralph E. Davis was executed on April 28, 1999

I wonder whether her partner was killed by her since she was so good at it considering her past experience in medicine. Monsters who have no conscious, greed is their motivating force which compels these things to do the unthinkable to human beings; demons took over their lives using them to continue their evil task on this earth to win their battle over good.

The first case of poor Dina. The analysis of the circumstances led to the first steps of the unravelling of the scheme. Such oldies picking a dangerous and remote spot just for some fun! Enough to give one vertigo! It would have been much more for difficult say for a concerned relative to call for a probe, without being labelled as being overly suspicious! Consider the labour of the concerned lead investigator, the time spent and the frustration endured. All because of the ruthlessness and overconfidence of the killers. If unsolved they could have been felicitated as a truly caring couple of the helpless!
