Wwowowo thank you so much for 100k? I didn't expect to get so many views when I posted it! I really can't thank you enough. I read every comment and every single one makes me... feel things... It's supposed to be a metaphor for everything we secretly love and are afraid to show. I'm just happy if you see yourself here! P.S. ALL LGBT HEADCANONS ARE VALID thank you for your attention

This slightly reminds me of when I brought a stuffed seal to school during a week of midterms. I called it the anxiety seal and offered it to people to squish and hug to get out their nervous energy before their tests. Many people took up my offer and it made me really happy that I helped some of my classmates feel better before a stressful test. Moral of the story: always bring your stuffed animals to school :)

One time our class were told to bring our plushie to school. I don't remember that day fondly. Not sure why though. I might have thought ppl were making fun of my stuffed duck. Another time (before the day mentioned above) was when i brought a red car toy to school, i lend it to a certain guy and he never returned it since. When asked about he said "It was thrown in the furnace" Well i didn't believed him ofc but that blatant lie clearly meant he wasn't going to return it. And everyone was so surprised I didn't like talking about my interests.

I have a friend who wears a lot of dark clothing and chains. He often listens to very loud rock music and has an obsession with knives. He doesn't really talk to people who aren't his close friends and people think he's weird or scary but he's actually a really nice guy. He loves hugs, has an adorable love of strawberries and is a total romantic. This video reminded me of him and I think it's good that videos like these exist to show people that they shouldn't be afraid of what they like. Edit: omg I completely forgot about this comment! Every guy has their feminine side and every girl has their masculine side and it's nothing to be ashamed of, we should all just learn to embrace them.
@kingcrimson41332 жыл бұрын
What's important to realize is that the things that are considered feminine and masculine are completely made up. A perfect example of this is pink and blue - the classic "girl" and "boy" colors, but just 150 years ago it was the other way around. Pink was seen as masculine and blue as feminine. Rather than do the mental gymnastics necessary to categorize normal human behaviors as masculine and feminine, we should just focus on letting people be just who they are without feeling the need to label them.

I felt this video on a whole other level. I’m a goth and was going hard with it in MS and HS, I was also an officer for our ROTC so I was considered to be all around just intimidating and goth. We had a couple career and fun days plus no school supply restrictions so I shocked some people on multiple occasions for completely unexpected reasons. 1, we had a Disney favorites day, I came to school decked out with Cinderella stuff and glitter plus some pastel plushies from Oliver and Co, had a career day and everyone was shocked to hear that I take care of animals for a living, and then the multiple times that I’d open my pretty gothy binder and padlock pencil bag to pull out an MLP pencil for notes. Always fun to see peoples faces when they see that I love things like that even tho I love all of my dark stuff too 😂

I still have my Miku since 5 years ago (when I got to buy her) and was my very first plushie after probably 8 years or so without one ( I used to have two little bears, one was brown and the other kinda like beige, but I lost the beige one, sadly). She's still as good as new, as I always take care of her, just as she does for me. It's the only protection I have against really late nights like this one right now, at 3:22 am, where my mind questions many things, doubts, wonders, etc. I have a really really bad time dealing with the fact that I will die one day. Miku really really helps me bear the pain and control my anxiety attacks. Usually my girlfriend or my family can help me during the day, but in moments like these I really appreciate her, and the calm I feel from being able to squeeze her tight as I fall asleep again. Thank you, whoever read this. And sorry if it's too long.

As a guy who has a massive plushy collection this is very relatable. Back when i was young i once showed my LPS collection to someone who i thought was friendly but he told the other guys and i got bullied for it. Though aventually i did get confident enough to not be ashamed but it did take a long time cuz u have to get to the age where people stop shaming others for their own insecurities. Also one of the bullies whent to the same high school as me after and like 3 years later i had to sit next to him one time and he said "didn't you use to play with LPS?" And i said "bro if that's the only thing on your mind than you really have no life" and he stopped talking to me ever since. 😌 good riddence

I just watched this and its making me so emotional... honestly this short movie means a lot to me I have severe anxiety and (at this point) mostly processed trauma that I deal with, and I always keep my companion plushie dog in my bag so I can pull it out when I have an anxiety attack and hold it, I've been doing this ever since high school when it started to get really bad but I've always been afraid to let the other kids know, running to hide somewhere before pulling him out the bag... At this point I'm an adult and i still carry my doggo with me every time I leave the house, but no one ever sees him cause I'm afraid to get judged or worse some idiot is gonna yank on him and destroy him. That face the main character made when squishing the plushie in fear just... Hit something in me, that made me relate way too much I'm happy for them and that they found someone else to share their love for this plush and comfort with, maybe one day I can feel the same!

All you have to do at my highschool is hit the locker in the right spot and it'll pop open; not to mention some ppl are thieves and will steal stuff right out your locker, no matter who you are on the social ladder. Because of that & some ppls locker took time out of getting to class(5 mins to get from 1 place to another), almost no one uses them. Except maybe a hand full of ppl. So teddy bears in locker is not safe. If you had one it stayed with you the whole school day.

I have a similar story. Sort of. So my teacher told my class a story about how when she was younger she went to a best friend's house. When she got to the house and saw her friend's dad, she was terrified. She described the dad as extremely intimidating. Apparently he had tattoo's every where, an extremely muscular build, very tall, and overall the most scariest person she's ever come in contact with. Quite immediately, she became comfortable. Despite being extremely intimidating and hard to even make eye contact with, the dad was the nicest person she's ever met. She explained to us that he made them lemonade and got them snacks whenever they needed. This is probably the cutest stories I've ever heard.

I used to know a guy and it was really sad. I was his friend... his only one. He kept a cute little pic of him and his brother in his locker and someone found out. He was bullied for it and it ended with him trying to jump off the school roof. Don't bully people for being who they are. It's not cool, it's not funny. I read a post where a college class ran an experiment where they would visibly carry plushies with them in public. Most of the time, no one berated them for it or even looked twice. If anything, the plushies were nice conversation starters and lowered their levels of anxiety during class. In other words, carry all the plushies you desire :)

I once went on student exchange in Russia and the father of my host family was this big, buff man with a shaved head and a ton of tattoos. He didn't talk much (I think he talked to me maybe once or twice) and was just overall REALLY INTIMIDATING. My host family's home had a lot of cute embroidered pieces hanging on the walls. Embroidered fairies, flowers, cats... I asked my host family's daughter if she had made them and you know what she answered? "No, my dad made them" I still think about it a lot.

Ya, sometimes . . . they just stereotyped in the wrong way . . . being a man doesn't mean it has to do all awesome or even manly stuff. It doesn't mean they'll have to be the prince or something, it doesn't really *have* to. A princess can sometimes fight on their own so they don't need a prince to save them. It's just natural. They are free to do whatever they want now that woman's have their rights. Infact, it's good to be a soft boy if you think of it . . . but also has bad things . . . it depends on em'. So I agree with you.
