I really enjoy watching you play out the games I realize you can't do this for all 162 games, but I wish you would consider doing it for your playoff games. .

My games are choppy too if I’ve had OOTP running for a while. It might help to exit the game and start a new application prior to spectating a game.

Yep still a slide show. I suspect it has to do with the video compression when you upload to YT.

Bummer... oh well, now I know it's not just bad luck, might mean the end of my playing games out career, at least until I upgrade my technology!

I know that it's just one game, but this made me worry a bit that your offence might be feeble. That said, I'm glad that Ohtani got a win in his first start. He pitched a fine game, scattered a lot of minor hits and only was in real trouble once.

Agreed. I was pleasantly surprised by the offense last season, so outside of Nakajima adding bats was not a focus in the offseason. But if we take a step backwards in terms of scoring runs it will be a problem, and day one was not impressive!

Question did you notice if Nashville filled there 40 during the expansion years when they weren't playing games?

Should you not have been warming up a reliever during your bat so he was warm at the start of the next inning you brought him in?? Or does the game automatically have the relievers warm when you make a change at the start of the inning??

I changed the settings for the game so relievers did not need to be warmed up based on feedback from a comment last time around. Just made things simpler for me!

You do know that it could be wise to hand over the strategy of some parts to your coaches. Baserunning to the best Base Coach, and Bench Coach take the defense and handle infield and outfield setup for each batter facing. It's just to many things, stats, pull hitters to keep track on. When I play out a game I let my BC or Manager handle things until I see something crazy. Sometime I just take care of subbing players. It's fun to interfere with the coaches and then just see what a stupid move one made, 😪 I think subbing pitcher might be the trickiest and most dangerous to get wrong. Picking what camera angle should show will help a lot against the staggering. We surely don't play this because of graphics, do we ? 🤔

Ha, definitely not playing OOTP for the graphics... even though sometimes it seems like graphics (and PT) are what the company cares about most!

@@oldschoolsports You and me, plus lots of others for sure are very sad that concentrating on PT and graphics have taken the front seat the last versions. Not a good road to go forward. Those two things have been enhanced hugely after the buyout from Markus. Money rules the day. Don't see the so cool thing of playing with an expanding world in saves ever coming back. It's back to rely on fictional IFA coming from Japan (with no stat on them) since I hardly think the company will pay up to once more get that important league into the game. It will limp on with US/KBO focus onwards. A huge step back. After all Japan did win the World Cup, so we are missing the best (or are we 😮) The issue of American former MLB stars playing in Japan getting back to MLB is also a lost thing. Even playing historical re-plays (as I do mostly) have gotten more problems the last versions than before.
