i think the yamamoto and ohtani contracts are based on the real money value of the contracts, which is probably the best way they could have handled it in game

Yeah, they also handle the injury pretty well I think. He’s listed as a DH with a pitching injury

Agree with it being one of the best days of the year, and glad to see your new series already underway! Good luck with the Giants... my goal is always to just get through the first season as soon as possible and then really rip things apart in that first full offseason... but I prefer the GM part over managing anyways... if you think you can win, might as well try!

Just made it to year 3 in my offline save and the draft class was a lot better than 1 and 2. That being said, most versions you really need to get to like year 4 before the drafts really start taking off

My first watch of one of your videos but as a UK Giants fan I'll be watching the series with interest. Hooked onto you through @oldschoolsports Fairly new to OOTP so watching a lot atm to learn as much as I can. Would love to see more than three episodes per season but I'll take whatever you give👍 Personally I would like to see the more advanced stats but that's just my preference.

Hi, I'm new to your channel. I haven't played OOTP for years, but I'm very tempted to give it a try, especially as it's on sale this week. Looking forward to following along. Just one comment, I'm having a hard time reading the screens as you play. I thought at first it must be me, but then I jumped on a couple of other gamers that play OOTP and found I could read their screens without any problem. Don't mean to be critical, I enjoy your style of play - just wanted to point that out. I wasn't sure if others found the same thing.

I've come to the point where I set AI trading to almost never because there are too many one sided deals that don't make sense

The programmers don't like the Yankees, I have been playing a game as the 1927 Yankees(a team that only lost 44 games out of a 155 game season) and they are constantly missing catches, botching throws, striking out..............smh

I assure you, the developers don't care about the Yankees. The players are just code and sometimes code doesn't act like it should. If you replayed that season 100 times, they probably are dominant 90 of them. You just happened to get one of the 10 unfortunately! Keep grinding though!
