The very first movie The Weeknd ever saw in a theater was The Mask and that was when he decided he wanted to be an entertainer. Jim Carey was very important in his life and this video is literally Jim Carey passing the tprch/mask to Abel. Abel and Jim are from the same city and when Abel told Jim where he saw the movie Jim actually knew the theater. They really bonded over After Hours if you do not know the story
